The Council of the Borough of Epsom and Ewell in exercise of their powers under

Section 35(1) of and Paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984 and all other powers them enabling in that behalf and after consultation with the

Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20(1) of Schedule 9 to the Road

Traffic Regulation Act 1984 hereby make the following order:

Citation and Commencement

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Epsom and Ewell (Pay and Display

Parking Places) (Twenty Seventh Amendment) Order 2006

Interpretation

2. (1) In this Order "the Order of 1987" means the Epsom and Ewell (Pay and

Display Parking Places) Order 1987 as amended by the Epsom and Ewell

(Pay and Display Parking Places) (First Amendment) Order 1987 the

(2) The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply for the interpretation of this

Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament

Amendment of the Order of 1987

3. (a) Without prejudice of the validity of anything done or any liability

incurred in respect of any act or omission before the coming into

operation of this Order, the Order of 1987 shall be amended as follows:

Schedule II to the Order of 1987 is hereby substituted with the

Schedule to this Order
