    HUNTERSVILLE, NC:

    On Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 2:45 p.m., Huntersville Police Officers responded to the

    intersection of Gilead Road and Reese Boulevard to a two-vehicle crash. The crash involved a largepanel van and motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Carolinas MedicalCenter Main Campus with possible life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van suffered noinjuries. Medic and Huntersville Fire Department responded to the scene and rendered medicalassistance to the motorcycle driver.

    The motorcycle driver is listed in critical condition at this time. The crash is currently beinginvestigated by the Huntersville Police Traffic Safety Section. Additional information will bereleased when the investigation has been completed.
