    The 2016 Nuclear Security Summit

    (Washington, DC)-The Metropolitan Police Department and the District Department of Transportation would like to

    inform the public of street closures, pedestrian restrictions, and parking restrictions in conjunction with the 2016 Nuclear

    Security Summit scheduled for Sunday, March 27, 2016 to Saturday, April 2, 2016.

    STREET CLOSURES WITH LIMITED PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC(resident and business foot traffic only – all parking restricted)

    From Tuesday, March 29th

     at 7:00 p.m. to Saturday, April 2nd

     at 12:00 p.m. -

    •  F Street, NW from 14th Street, NW to 15th Street, NW

    From Wednesday, March 30th

     at 7:00 p.m. to Saturday, April 2nd

     at 12:00 p.m. -

    •   New York Avenue, NW from 6th Street, NW to 11th Street, NW.

    Metropolitan Area.

    WMATA CLOSURES

    • DC Metro Train Stops-

    The Yellow and Green Line Trains will not stop at the Washington Convention Center. No otherMetro stops will be affected by the Nuclear Security Summit.

    • DC Metro Bus Stops-o

      7th Street, NW and 9

    thStreet, NW Street Bus Stops between N Street, NW and K Street. NW will

     be diverted around the Washington Convention Center.

    Motorists traveling in the area of this event may experience delays and should consider

    alternative routes, if possible. The Metropolitan Police Department and the District

    Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to pay full attention wheneveroperating any motor vehicle and to be mindful of heavy pedestrian traffic that may be

    associated with special events. These street closings are subject to change without notice based

    upon unanticipated events and prevailing conditions.
