Mr. Floyd K. Takeuchi is a writer-

photographer who lives in Honolulu, Hawaii.

During a 40 year-career in journalism and

communications, Mr. Floyd has worked for

newspapers, magazines, as well as in radio

and television. Mr. Floyd has also served as

president of three media-related companies in

Honolulu. Mr. Floyd has worked in Honolulu,

Guam, Fiji, Washington DC and in Tokyo,

where Mr. Floyd was a television and radio

correspondent covering Asian financial

markets for Bloomberg News. Mr. Floyd is an

award-winning photographer who has

frequently exhibited his work in Honolulu in solo

and group shows. A third-generation American

of Japanese ancestry, Mr. Floyd was born and

raised in the Marshall Islands.
