Job Description Job Title: Trainee Sales Advisor Application Date: June 2017 Department: Sales Responsible to: Internal Sales Manager / Sales Office Manager Job Purpose: To work in the sales office as an efficient and effective member of the team with day to day guidance, support and supervision from the Internal Sales Manager whilst performing all duties and tasks to the standard required in compliance with the companies objectives, KPI’s, sales office procedures and the monthly sales pack and to learn all aspects of the Sales Advisor role in the timeframe set. Main Duties: To accurately and efficiently perform any sales office tasks in which you have received adequate training, this can include the processing of enquires and orders taken by phone, fax and email, under supervision. Complete all tasks with support, guidance and supervision from the ISM in line with sales office procedures and as identified in the monthly sales pack. To learn all aspects of a promotional or marketing campaign. To grow, recover, maintain & develop nominated accounts by sales and contribution with support, guidance & supervision from the ISM. To learn and understand day to day management of all accounts and targets with support, guidance and supervision from the ISM. To understand and learn the sales profile of your customers to achieve and understand sales targets. Action priorities/tasks given by the ISM/MD to grow & develop your accounts within the agreed parameters to achieve long term success. Learn to be proactive within your role and review/chase unconverted quotes under supervision. Learn to understand and highlight actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth. Complete the sales blog with up to date accurate information as and when required. To pro-actively work with the External Business Managers and Market Developers, where applicable. Ensure responsibility for self and others with regards to Health & Safety. Display a healthy work attitude with regards to quality, productivity, efficiency, attendance and timekeeping.
