T4SD Standards Map – Self-Assessment
Building on Standards Map: A new tool for SMEs to assess their situation vis-a-vis standards, codes and audit protocols (gap analysis) – Offline Prototype in XLS
• Technology: Currently in MS Excel, the prototype of T4SD Standards Map self-assessment tool will be turned into an online application in Q3/Q4 2013;
• Data: The tool is based on data exports from the T4SD Standards Map Database;
• Flexibility: Allows the user of the tool to customize weightings based on his/her own preference in order to assess its self-assessment the standards: e.g. Critical requirements versus Recommendations / Explicit reference or No explicit reference of the issue in the standard, etc;
• Key functionalities: • The user defines the baseline reference; • Calculations are made to determine level of correspondence and
overlap with selected standards and codes; • Tables and graphs are automatically generated in the tool.
