Mahindra’s tractor range have forged an ironclad reputation for bulletproof toughness and durability. This starts with design. It comes from incorporating quality steel in every Mahindra Tractors’ DNA. In fact, Steel has been the DNA of Mahindra since the company started in 1945 as a Steel Trading Company. Mahindra & Mahindra limited today has a large joint venture steel plant with Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd and Mitsui & Co., Ltd of Japan, keeping high quality steel at the forefront of its Tractor design since the �rst Tractor rolled off the line in 1963 as part of a joint venture with International Harvester in India.

Mahindra Tractors Australia was of�cially opened by the Honourable Tony McGrady – previous Mayor of Mt Isa, and Minister for State Development and Innovation on the 11th February 2005 in Brisbane, 15 years ago.

Today Mahindra Tractors have crossed 3 million units sold worldwide, with the help of the USA market where Mahindra is the number 3 sold Tractor brand. Acquisition of the Mitsubishi Agriculture Co Ltd of Japan in 2015, where our Max range of hydrostatic tractors are made, Sampo Rosenlew in 2018, a large player in the European Combine Harvester market to new markets like Turkey, where Mahindra have acquired implement company Hisarlar and Tractor manufacturer Erkunt / Armatrac Tractors. Mahindra continues to be at the forefront of tough durable farm tractors, but is pushing into the connected farm segment with DiGiSENSE.

We’ve had the eMax on our 5 acre property in Brisbane which is a

mix of landscaped lawns, permaculture garden and semi treed

forest for 4 years now.

What I really like about it is its ease of use. My wife, daughter or

sons and I can get on there and do work straight away without fail.

Starts �rst every time and the HST makes it so easy to manoeuvre

around our property. The controls are also easy to handle, which is

great because the 4in1 bucket makes it super quick to pick up and

spread much and soil around the gardens. As a family we pride

ourselves on having our own livestock; chooks, turkey’s, geese,

ducks, pigs and vegetables all organic which makes for great

homemade meals, but more importantly to me is our kids have

grown up knowing where the food comes from and the work that

goes into maintaining even our little plot.

I’d have a bloody sore back if it weren’t for our little Mahindra eMax,

but the most rewarding thing is creating a loving sustainable

environment for our family to grow up.
