Context of the project. EU Twinning Project France – Ukraine: Development and Coordination of Multimodal Transport and Logistic Processes in Ukraine
Objective. Transfer of transportation from road to rail within a real partnership between road transport companies and railway companies
Project. Develop a motorway connection between two dynamic economic zones: Duisburg and Kiev
Project parameters and requirements.
Frequency. 5 trains a week, 48 weeks per year Equipment. Trailers and cranes should be specially equipped for the handling Wagons. Twin wagons (pocket wagons) with special adjustable axles and mix coupling (in study) Possible intermodal transport units. Trailers, swap bodies, containers (20’, 40’ or 45’)
