Fully Traceable Components All products are fully traceable to source of supply and the company’s processes are audited by several customers to a safety critical level. When combined with state of the art, cloud based vending machines real time traceability from steel mill to vehicle of the components to each member of the production teams is possible.

Kitting of Parts Key Fasteners specialise in kitting solutions where a mix of fasteners and consumables can be supplied in one kit (bagged, boxed or shrink wrapped). Sub-assemblies of parts can also be supplied as kits. This reduces the time spent by your staff in procurement, stores and assembly. By working closely with our customers to provide tailor made solutions, the amount of operational downtime is minimised, as is the risk of overstocking components.

Rail nuts are metal reusable self locking hexagon nuts and are available to standard NFE 25 411 and SNCF 00.040FP6. Sizes available M2 to M48.

Supplied in steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, light alloy and titanium. Finishes include self colour, zinc, phosphating, dacromet and zinc white.

On-site Support Key Fasteners has a number of site support staff who deliver and stock manage the components on behalf of the customer using Kanbans and line-side stock bins. Regular reviews with the customer’s procurement and technical teams can identify better value or improved performance products to ensure the best combination of components are supplied.

Free Site Survey Key Fasteners offers a free site survey and product identification service together with a supply chain review to assess any procurement issues and how these could be resolved.

Bar Coded Stock Bins Traditional supply methods where consumables are stored in bar coded stock cabinets and fasteners in bin systems can be provided.

High Value Item Management Innovative vending solutions also allows management of high value items where the cabinet can be programmed to send an e-mail to a supervisor when an item (e.g. a calibrated tool) has not been returned within a specific time, detailing who last took the item from the vending machine. This system also works well with calibrated tools as the cabinet software can set the number of hours before recalibration is required, eliminating the need for separate paper records.
