The global fastenings supplier, which has its headquarters in Uckfield, was awarded the Lear Corporation’s ‘Supplier of the Year Award’ which was presented to 10 companies for outstanding performance during 2011.
TR Fastenings was presented with the award at seating and electrical power management systems manufacturer Lear’s headquarters in Southfield, Michigan in the United States on March 16, 2012. The award comes hot on the heels of another accolade for TR. Last month, the fastenings firm was awarded the Philips Hamilton Supplier of the Year award for outstanding service.
The 10 winning firms honoured by the Lear awards were selected from more than 2,000 companies worldwide. TR Fastenings was recognised for consistently meeting the Lear Corporation’s demands in customer service, quality and delivery and increasingly participating in Lear’s standardisation process for fasteners. TR Fastenings has been named as the preferred global supplier of fasteners to the Lear Corporation, securing new Programs to be supplied by the TR Group with new business opportunities from the US manufacturer over the next five years.

Trifast’s investors website www.trifast.com was again nominated for the IR Society award, ‘Best corporate website’ (Small Cap & AIM) and we are pleased to say has won this prestigious award for the 2nd year running.
Malcolm Diamond MBE, Chairman of Trifast collected the award at the 2012 IR Society Annual Dinner and Best Practice Awards on Tuesday 20th November. Malcolm was accompanied by Mark Belton and Abi Burnett from Trifast and Jim Robinson and Suzanne Harvey from Jones and Palmer and Graeme Cull from TooleyStreet Communications.

This prestigious award has been awarded to our manufacturing division in Singapore, TR Formac PTE Ltd for their supply of parts to the Bike Division of Shimano.
Shimano Components (M) SDN. BHD. is a manufacturer and distributor of bicylce components, fishing tackle, cold forging products and rowing equipment. The company was established in 1921 and has grown to incorporate over 43 subsidiaries globally with its head office in Japan. TR has been supplying Shimano for over 10 years with over 100 parts including bolts, screws, nuts and washers.
