Lecturer Preview Mode Collaboration Mode In an age of infinite information, students are now required to be educated on how to analyze multiple information sources and identify patterns and correla- tions. The learning pedagogy is migrating towards a more interactive and “hands-on” model, where students are not only taught theory but also practical application. Used in Collaboration mode, the TPI-PRO presents multiple visual sources on a digital canvas. This enables the lecturer to shift from single image Power- Point presentations to multiple content windows to support a more interactive learning style. An example of this may be a PowerPoint slide next to a live camera feed from a microscope that the lecturer uses as a real life example to support the content outlined in the PowerPoint deck. The TPI-PRO also can use an anno- tation function to further underpin the lecturer’s ability to illustrate key learnings and interact with the content being displayed. These functions, along with the theatre’s environmen- tal controls are presented on a single dashboard on the confidence monitor and uses graphics and live video thumbnails to make the system simple to oper- ate for the lecturer and provides engaging content for the students. As attention spans continue to drop and mobile devices compete for a student’s attention, its impor- tant that visual content is delivered seamlessly and professionally to ensure an attentive audience throughout the lecture. In preview mode, the TPI-PRO provides the lecturer with a local confi- dence monitor, allowing the lecturer to see what is being displayed on the projector without having to turn away from the audience to look up at the screen. TPI-PRO also allows the lecturer to easily preview and queue other content sources such as a docu- ment camera or a wireless presentation source. This allows the lecturer to easily transition the content without interrupting the lecture flow. Lastly, the lecture theatre’s environmental controls such as lights, blinds and volume can be accessed from the same confidence monitor allowing the lecturer full control of their space. TPI-PRO gives the lecturer the freedom to teach without the awkward 5 minutes of silence whilst they queue up the next piece of content. It’s like having a roadie at your fingertips! www.touchpanelcontrol.com TPI-PRO UNIVERSITY

Lecturer Preview ModeCollaboration ModeIn an age of infinite information, students are now required to be educated on how to analyze multiple information sources and identify patterns and correla-tions. The learning pedagogy is migrating towards a more interactive and “hands-on” model, where students are not only taught theory but also practical application.

Used in Collaboration mode, the TPI-PRO presents multiple visual sources on a digital canvas. This enables the lecturer to shift from single image Power-Point presentations to multiple content windows to support a more interactive learning style. An example of this may be a PowerPoint slide next to a live camera feed from a microscope that the lecturer uses as a real life example to support the content outlined in the PowerPoint deck. The TPI-PRO also can use an anno-tation function to further underpin the lecturer’s ability to illustrate key learnings and interact with the content being displayed.

These functions, along with the theatre’s environmen-tal controls are presented on a single dashboard on the confidence monitor and uses graphics and live video thumbnails to make the system simple to oper-ate for the lecturer and provides engaging content for the students.

As attention spans continue to drop and mobile devices compete for a student’s attention, its impor-tant that visual content is delivered seamlessly and professionally to ensure an attentive audience throughout the lecture. In preview mode, the TPI-PRO provides the lecturer with a local confi-dence monitor, allowing the lecturer to see what is being displayed on the projector without having to turn away from the audience to look up at the screen.
