The Townsville Turf Club is one of Townsville’s hidden treasures, with picturesque surroundings, historical grandstand and manicured

grounds; we provide a unique and ideal location for your special day.

We offer a range of packages to suit all styles of weddings from an informal cocktail affair to an elaborate wedding banquet.

At the Townsville Turf Club we understand the importance of this special event and our lovely functions team endeavour to make your

day unforgettable.

Ceremonies


The Townsville Turf Club offers beautiful open air ceremonies in our luscious park area, in front of our Administration Office, in the Mounting Yard and in front of the Historic Public Grandstand. Each area offers it’s own unique ambience and views for your ceremony. Our standard ceremony package includes:

50 chairs

Red carpet

50 plain white chair covers

50 coloured sashes – may incur additional cost depending on colour and material of sash

Selection of location

Wedding Coordinator The standard ceremony package is $250 (inc gst) and includes set up.

The Townsville Turf Club offers a number of different venue options for your consideration: Venue Option 1: Members Lounge

We have both round and trestle tables available depending on room layout

Licensed until midnight Venue Option 6: Marquee Marquees are ideal for the larger exclusive wedding. They can cater for up to 1000 guests. Marquee packages are tailored to your personnel requirements. Marquees are licensed until midnight. Individually quoted upon request.

Room Hire:

The venue fee is $25 per person (inc GST). Which includes the following:

Round Table seating up to 10 White linen tablecloths

Padded Café chairs

Bridal Table with Skirting

Cake table

Venue hire Minimum of 60 Guests. Any Function below this number can be priced on application.

We will set up your room to your requirements using either round or trestle tables that seat up to 10. We also offer decoration packages to help with the styling of your special day. Or we can obtain quotes for decorating or alternately you may make your own arrangements. Marquee Hire:

Marquees are ideal for the larger exclusive wedding. They can cater for up to 1000 guests. Marquee packages are tailored to your personnel requirements. Marquees are licensed until midnight. *Marquees are individually quoted upon request. Catering:
