Franklin D Goes Under the Sea!Nobody knows water like our friends at Franklin Plumbing & Drain! So we were thrilled to know that they could join us on opening night, Friday, July 15 for our own water adventure with The Little Mermaid. Be sure to come early for some pre-show fun! Beginning at 6:30 PM, Palmetto Snow will be serving some tropical treats ($2-$3 each) and the Franklin folks will be sharing some of their company goodies. Town Gives Back!If you have been around Town during a summer show, you know that one of our favorite things is to give back! Ariel and all of her friends are thrilled to partner with Curing Kids Cancer. Since 2005, Curing Kids Cancer has given more than $8 million to fund research that will one day cure pediatric cancers. Be sure to stop by our fundraiser table to purchase a goody for yourself OR to send your favorite sea creature well wishes from the land! Proceeds will be given to CKC in their quest to end childhood cancer.

The Columbia Stage Society/Town Theatre will hold the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 5:30 at the Theatre. At this time members of the Board of Directors will be elected. All persons who held membership with the Theatre for the 97th (2015–2016) season are eligible to vote.

After a sold out crowd last summer, James will be back at Town for TWO shows on Saturday, August 6.

Join us at 5:30 PM or 8:00 PM and laugh yourself silly as the “funniest man in America” entertains you.

Tickets ranging from $25-$40 are available NOW online at www.towntheatre.com or by calling 803-799-2510.

The theme is familiar — an aging actress threatened by youth — but we’re giving it a fresh, new spin! BACKSTAGE will bring it all together through shared stories of a group of performers who frequent a bar constructed on the stage of a closed theater.

Don’t miss an all star line up of Town veterans, including Rebecca Goodrich (Spamalot), Dell Goodrich (Stand By Your Man), Mary Joy Williams (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Megan Douthitt and Corey Langley (The Addams Family), Bob Blencowe (Stand By Your Man), Allison Allgood (Sugar), Samantha Livoti (Singin’ in the Rain) and Kathy Hartzog (The Honky Tonk Angels), as well as a number of talented newcomers!

Enjoy a “behind the scenes” look at show business through the songs of Applause (All About Eve), Curtains, Grey Gardens, The Act, The Magic Show, Seesaw, A Class Act, Me and Juliet, Barnum, Little Me and Mack & Mabel.

BACKSTAGE is directed and choreographed by Charlie Goodrich with musical direction by Kathy Seppamaki (both recently seen in Nice Work If You Can Get It). BACKSTAGE is being presented as a part of Town’s com-mitment to emerging artists. Come early for a complementary wine reception starting at 7:15 PM.

Tickets are $10 general admission and may be purchased online at www.towntheatre.com or by calling the box office at (803) 799-2510.
