Situated on 121 acres, the Town’s 18-hole, par 70, championship golf course features narrow fairways, water holes, sand and grass bunkers, as well as a putting green. A turn-of-the-century mansion offers The Mansion at Oyster Bay, a catering facility and Clubhouse Grille. Golfers can also take a break at the “Halfway House”, located on the 8th tee, with amenities such as restroom facilities and a snack bar.

Instruction is available for all levels of golfing ability, beginner through advanced. Inquire about private lessons, group lessons and clinics at the practice range and on the course. The Lucas Golf Center at Oyster Bay Driving Range and Pro Shop are open for the season. The Pro Shop will be stocked with brand name merchandise for all your golfing needs.

The Town offers some of the finest venues for recreation in the nation, including beaches and parks that are second to none. However, many residents consider the Hon. Joseph Colby Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course to be tops on their list. In my opinion there are many things that make a round of golf memorable and the Town does an excellent job of meeting or exceeding the expectations of players. Our prices are competitive and golfers are treated to a quality public course that truly has the feel of an exclusive private course.

For the convenience of all golfers, the Town of Oyster Bay now offers online registration for those seeking a tee-time to play a round of golf at its course. In past years, this service was only available to members. Non-members are now able to reserve their tee-time 7 days prior to the desired reservation. Members are able to make a reservation 30 days prior. We deliver a great experience for all golfers at our course and the online tee-time registration makes the process simple and easy for residents and non-residents.

The Town is extremely proud of our facility and encourage all players to enjoy this outstanding course. Membership Information

Applications will be processed at the golf course Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm. Membership is valid until the end of the calendar year.

Prospective members must provide the following proofs of residency:

• Photo Identification (Driver’s License or Passport)

• Car Registration, Tax Bill or Utility Bill.
