1 acre grove, adaptable open space Place for farmers market, ent anchor, tree, water fountain
Market Hall, Entertainment, very walkableLoving that you're engaged with Penny Ice Creamory and Cat & Cloud Coffee!
I'm glad to see the adjustments that have been made to the # of units. It will be good to have more students in our SV schools
Pedestrian friendly. Flexible "green space" I love the feel of the Green & retai space & the market
The green space, community space, event space. You didn't mention if there will be rental space available. Right now the rental public space is either filled or way too expensive for non-profits or meeting groups that contribute to the community. For example clubs like Toa Stamers, Rotary, etc

I like the fact that you architect appears to listen to concerns like not Bluebonnet through Skypark.I like town green center plan

Love the town green's flexible use > wonderful idea. Looks like it will create a great space with the height and activity of buildings that surround the green. It's a great plan!
Town Green place plaza
Retail and entertainment venue key"The woonfu(sp?)", plan for more restaurantsGreat outdoor areas, and multiple types of housing
Social interaction area of central park/ampatheater areaDiversity of housing
Affordable housing!Like town green concept & architecture
The outdoor eading spaces, love the idea of a music venuethis is the communal space that Scotts Valley is missing
I like the fact that you architect appears to listen to concerns like not Bluebonnet through Skypark.I like town green center plan
I like the increased housing community located near transit. It seems to take a progressive look at how people work and live.
Love the town green's flexible use > wonderful idea. Looks like it will create a great space with the height and activity of buildings that surround the green. It's a great plan!
The town green is a great conceptWould like it to be much larger, housing density much smaller
Retail and entertainment venue key"The woonfu(sp?)", plan for more restaurantsGreat outdoor areas, and multiple types of housing
I like the outdoor ampitheater, I like trees. The architecture looks pretty.
Affordable housing! Like town green concept & architecture Town center & community space
The fluid Town Green. Affordable housing. Walking space that is safe and enjoyable. Trees Generally feel ok about the plan - however more green space throughout housing areas are needed. Grass areas seem lacking
The proposed plan is amazing, I'm super excited about the project. Can't wait for it to be build.
Town Green, farmer's market area
Liked the attention to sidewalks & exterior decor. Furniture, landscaping, lighting etc should all be upscale. Sophisticated landscaping.
Affordable housing, interative sidewalk space, entertainment
Town green
The face that everythign is close to each other. New food venues. Concern that food will be just fast food. Concern library parking won't be enough with new residences. Library may not be accessible on Blue Bonnet due to traffic, unless people walk only.
Focus on food and entertainmentAdditional retail space
Good parking - without parking will be used only by people who live in the development.
Need more restaurants
Town Green & Entertainment areaPlus the farmer's market areaOutdoor spaces
Great backayrd with entertainment and food/drink. Big connected Town Green
Commitment to respect the elements that make Scotts Valley greatLowered building heights
In general:This is my first presentaion on this subject and I'm impressed with the plan and it accomodating Scotts Valley's concerns. What I'd heard from friends who attended previous presentations was more negative.
Affordable housing and green space
Like the look and feel and thought process. Much better than previous . Adaptable spaceFlow with the project. Parking info
Town green with fountains, much green, etc I like that you are talking with Coffe Cloud, Penny etc Please - no chain restaurants, Whole Foots, etcThe apartments (market rate_ sound very small (and unappealing as they are only one-story housing)
Affordable housing
Town Center, Farmer's Market, Food, Entertainment
Warm, high-end look and feel to exterior spaces
Multi purpose use of space. Space for singles, families and children. Affordable housing. Eco-friendly
Attention to exterior design, similar to Santurn Row woudl be idea. Hanging plants on street lights, pathways,
WHAT IDEAS OR CONCEPTS HAD THE MOST APPEAL TO YOU?
Afternoon Responses Evening Responses
City needs revenue. How will you address this issue? Traffic mitigation
Traffic! Building heights! Traffic for 500 or more cars
Parking for community events are now in the fields near Skypark. This would no longer exist. Concern about traffic on Mt Hermon & Blue Bonnet. There could be traffic jams with more residences, especially with events. The fact that only 125 responses helped to back decisons for 12,000 + people is a conern. Personally, beer, wine coffee don't appeal to myself or my personal friends. Need more healthy, organic food, organic salad bar, gluten-free options, currently noneThe services that were picked were chosen it seems, because they make money like Starbucks not because we need another coffee house on Mt Hermon. Concerned that other venues will be cosen based on economy only, not resident prefereance.
Banners, signs around town Density
Not enough parking for community events such as the 4th of July or the Art Wine and Beer Festival.*The Chamer of Commerce relies on the Art Wine & Beer Festival for 35% of its income.
The area allocated to the square green space seems small.Would like to see some more development of ideas to expand that area by resizing/redrawing roads and parking. (Seems like there is a way too much retail parking, especailly considering the development surrounding it)
Landscaping All irrigation use reclaimed waterAll storm water retained on site and park into water table, maybel even sue the system to perk excess reclaimed water (with some extratrement)Interconnect all signals on MH Road to max efficiency
Traffic and adequate parking.Quality of retail and restaurants - no more fast food.
Why can't there be a parkign garage or just on-the-ground parking? More pedestrian only walkways would be nice
Cars on some areas.Using shuttles to move people, able to provide employment to seniors as drivers.
I hope that this plan increases community use of the space and results in greater town unity.
Parking during peak season or during large community events Water usageTrafficToo much housing and too tall (no 4 story)Ugly buildingsSIngle family residences too dense
Timing - let's get this done! Do not increase traffic past middle school/Blue Bonnet to Beam CreekToo much traffic to Blue Bonnet/no exit onto Kings Village & Mt HermonWhy move festivals that work well at Skypark to 3 blocks away, Rob Peter to pay, concern about owner w/ teenagers parkign seems legit
Buildings noIse in transition. Will you build on weekends? Too much residential housing! I hope you lose interest in Scotts ValleyIt will change and ruin my communityWe do not need so much housing. People responded that they like "small town feel." You would forever change that. Please don.t
More traffic. Connection going up Blue Bonnet lane!Overall traffic concernThe community center is really an event place and should not be factored in when determining an exit to Blue Bonnet
Too much housing? Adds too much extra housing to our community & we lose open space.
"Educational" Fountain sounds like it might end up unattractive. This important feature should be large and beautiful!
Need for this development is no longer justifiedSkypark eventsParkingTraffic
Town Green, farmer's market area Housing & parking! Too many people, too many cars
Not enough housing. Our county is facing an unprecedented housing shortage, this is an opportunity we don't want to miss to add housing just because of NIMBYs
Traffic
The quality of every aspect.Building material, outdoor landscaping, furniture quality, road + walkway materials, lighting
Too many houses - too denseLoss of parking for SkyparkLoss of the flexible space (vacant lot)Potential loss of 4th of July fireworksTraffic created
Are cell antenaes goign on the residences like apartmetns and condos or enteratinment venues? I hope not since fires stations don't allow them on roof tops since firemen became non-functional. The cell antennaes or towers should be far away from public spaces. Not enough parking in gerneral for piblic during events.
Traffic jamsBeer - wine - coffeeScotts Valley healthy choises for food. (We have enough booze!)
Parking especially during events2 spaces per housing seems low for 3 bedroom units
Traffic and existsAnother stop lightDisconnect between Town Center and SkyparkToo much houseMove of dog park/skate parkRoads to nowhere (dead end)More retail space
1. When will 4th of July fireworks go?2. When will PG&E set up energy base camp!3. Another stop light on Mt. HermonEconomic viability of retail space!!!
Cars, parking!
Traffic on Mt HermonDisabled parking near stores & centerDog park - will it still exist?Retailers will be specialty type shops and not affordable for many localsWater use still issue as prices already high for SV residents after being restricted and now more draw on water - how does it affect the rest of us?
Renewable energy??? Diversity of pricing of food/drink. Permeable concrete? Bycicle circulation/parking - separate from cars & people!Future incorporation of changes to surroudning uses, eg Post Office, Kmart etc.
Roadway widths. Adequate parking for housing so that residential needs don't ovreflow to other parking reas. Parking for events both at Town Green and Skypark. Ex: Art & Wine Festival Parking needs cover the current footprint for town Center Projcect.More info needed on building heights and congruence of architectural aesthetics.
These are somewhat subdued but still concerns:Increased trafficParkingWater usage
Traffic and H20
Still have some concern about height/density of housing unitsObviously getting the right mix of retail that will attract a community involvedness
Apartments are too small - need 2 & 3 bedrooms in housing that isn't multi-story, what happened to stacked flats? They were larger. We would easily support new leaf/wild roots market!Don't like mixed-use "Wooneff" - prefer no cars at all and no way to communicate on the web! Ecet if on email list
Tri-level housing - I don't want itDisabled access - I would like it
Prefer peripherial parking and none on the mail street
Hope to see nice decor, such as the pots, trach cans, benches etc. Hoping for colorful landscaping
Reatil, what type (local business?)"Viability"
Concerned tha budgets will limit how interesting the architecture and landscape design will be
WHAT IDEAS OR CONCEPTS ARE STILL OF CONCERN?
