It all started with a simple package ofpapers from the University. In that instant,

    you started to picture livinggreen.

You started to picture yourself wearing

green, cheering for green and defending the

green. When venturing off campus, you found

yourself livingin a world of green.

We spent our days livingon campus,

attending classes, eating in the newly

remodeled J.W. Jones Student Union and

hanging out in the residence halls.

We spent our days livingthrough gale-

force winds and blistering cold weather.

While some spent their weekends livingin

the bars, others enjoyed the peace and quiet

    of being on campus.

Livingthe college lifestyle was made more

entertaining by the events sponsored byStudent Activities Council.

After four years of livingin Maryville, our

lives would never be the same.

Togetherwe found our new places in our

home away from home. The Greek community came togetherto

welcome incoming freshmen to campus on

    their first day.

Students came together to honor the fallen

and to provide support for those affected.

    Countless hours were spent studying

together in the B.D. Owens Library. Others

preferred to spend their time working together

to make masterpieces in the Fine Arts building.

    We come togetherfor philanthropies, for

our teams and for our school. Our involvement

stretched across campus and across the town.

Togetherwe raised money for the Ministry

Center and St. Judes Childrens Research

    Hospital.

Sometimes our full schedules made us want

to cry, but we all seemed to pull it togetherinthe end.

    Forever

    Chance Parsons@CometakeaCHANCE

Everything I haveaccomplished in the last4 years would not bepossible without@NWMOSTATE. I am

    so excited for my lastsemester!

We dreamt of this day forever.

    Walking across the stage, mortarboard

on your head and green diploma book

in hand, filled your body with a sense of

    accomplishment.

    While attending this University, you

were not just obtaining your diploma, you

    were finding your new foreverfamily.

We were officially a member of the elite

few. The saying once a Bearcat, always a

    Bearcat, rang true upon graduation.

Everything that took place on this

    campus would be foreverintertwined in

    our memories and our stories.

Student Life Index Living green means more than just day-to-day life. We lived

through a variety of events that took place over the course of

the year. We took occasional study breaks to attend a variety of

events on and off campus. Student Activities Council and various

campus organizations kept our calendars (and stomachs) full.

    all

    my

    life

Time spent in Maryville, Mo., was experienced in a

variety of ways. Whether we were gettin down on the

dance floor at Mollys or getting our Mexican food fix

at La Bonita, one thing was certain, we were always

with our friends. During the week time was spent

sweltering in the heat of the B. D. Owens Library. We

tucked our heads into our coats while trekking for

    miles to Garrett Strong.

We made the decision to leave our home and

seek a new one. Some of us came from countries in

Asia and Europe, while others came from across the

street. No matter the distance between, our ties would

    always remain.

Each of us gained something in our time at the

University. Some gained lifelong friends that would

eventually turn into coworkers, while others gained

skills necessary for our future occupations. Never the

less, we all gained something similar, a Bearcat family

that will stay with each and every one of us...
