Some New Initiatives: 2007-2009 City Commitments
Limit idling by fleet and visitors’ vehicles
Improve infrastructure to increase bicycle use
Encourage sustainable transportation
Develop a McGill purchasing policy for acquisition and maintenance of new vehicles
Promote University’s commitment to proper waste management with staff and suppliers
Landscape the campus with a focus on biodiversity
Participate in two events (e.g. car free day, waste reduction week, etc.)
