All transportation in air conditioned buses in China; local English tour guides. 2. Three meals daily: buffet breakfast and Chinese dish for lunch, and dinner; all 4-star hotel with double occupancy (private bath). 3. All admission and entrance fees for the activities as listed. The tour fare does not cover: 1. Medical insurance. 2. Gratuities for tour guides, bus drivers and luggage handling in hotel. Hotel laundry, beverages, telephone calls, or any other personal services are not included. 3. Visa application fee. 4. Departure from or return to an airport other than Los Angeles, Chicago or New York. Weather and conditions beyond the responsibilities of the organizer. We will try our best to make all arrangements as convenient as possible. 5. Dongfeng Li, AWS, teaches at Morehead State University. He is an internationally renowned artist, and has conducted many workshops and tours nationally and internationally, including several in China. ARTIST INTRODUCTION

Itinerary: Summer 2018

6/21: Fly to Beijing from the U.S.

6/23: Start your city tour with a vist to the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City. Dinner will be the famous Beijing duck.

6/24: Tour the Great Wall, Ming Tombs and Bird’s Nest-National Stadium. Optional tour to the old town alley.

6/25: High-speed train to Xian in the morning, for a two-night stay. Visit the World Heritage Site–Terra Cotta Warriors, the ceramics studio to see how these warriors were made, and climb the old city wall. Dinner will be the well-known regional dumplings.

6/26: Enjoy local sightseeing Shanxi Museum, Big Goose Pagoda, Mosque and Muslim Street.

6/27: Fly to Guilin in the morning for a cruise on the Li River to Yangshuo; two-night stay in Yangshuo.

6/28: Painting in Yangshuo and on West Street.

6/29: High-speed train to Shangrao and bus trip to Wuyuan.

6/30 –7/1: Two-day painting workshop in Wuyuan; stay in Wuyuan for three nights.

7/2: Travel to Hongcun village for painting and an overnight stay.

7/3: Visit Yellow Mountain and stay at the top of the mountain in the evening to paint.

7/4: Morning sightseeing with an afternoon flight to Quingdao.

7/5: The 2018 Missouri Watercolor Society Annual International Exhibition reception and awards ceremony. in the morning. Tour the city of Quingdao in the afternoon and enjoy a farewell dinner.

7/6: After breakfast, depart for the United States via Shanghai.
