Tour Kansas is headed to St. Louis!Group Travel Showcase 2011

Wednesday, August 3, 2011Time: 1:00–5:00 p.m. / setup at 10:00 a.m. & out by 6:00 p.m.

Tour KS social will be held that evening after the showcase / Tour KS meeting to be held on Thursday, August 4 from 10-12 (take home box lunch provided in $150 booth fee)

Put your membership to work for you! Join other Tour Kansas members as we road-trip to St. Louis for the annual travel showcase with group tour planners from the Eastern Missouri and Western Illinois region!

$150 Exhibitor fee includes: (1) One 8-foot table with linen and one chair (additional chairs by request) (1) lunch (additional lunches are $15.00 each); lunch will be served BEFORE the event this year

so vendors are not eating during showcase time; appetizers will be served for registered planners between 2-4 pm

Inclusion in all mailings and e-blasts to potential attendees Passport to Kansas inclusion! (see below) Group Planner Attendee List (provided after the event via email) Box lunch to-go after the Tour KS meeting (one per booth) on Thursday, Aug 4th

Each exhibitor is encouraged to provide giveaway items from your booth (food items are allowed). You should also consider a providing a packet of information for planners to take-home including sample itineraries, contact information, motor coach incentives, services you provide, etc!

Passport to Kansas!Group travel planners will receive a “Passport to Kansas” at registration. Those who visit every exhibitor at the showcase will be given a special gift when they leave! Exhibitors are given a sticker to place in the passport to verify guest attendance at your booth. If you know a planner in the region, please give them a personal phone call inviting them to our event!

Planner Incentive -- $250 Visa Gift CardThe first five (5) planners who book an overnight group trip in Kansas will be offered an incentive!!! This cost is included in the registration fee. To be eligible to receive the incentive, each planner must:

1. attend the travel showcase on August 32. bring a group of 20+ to Kansas3. spend at least one night in a Kansas lodging property (hotel/motel), requires receipts4. trip may not have been scheduled prior to August 3, 2011 and must be finalized by June 30, 20125. must report scheduled trip to Kerry Green, Treasurer of Tour KS – upon verification of the overnight trip, the

incentive gift card will be sent to the planner

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS: Please note--hotel accommodations are separate from the registration fee of $150. The hotel has agreed to extend the room rate for a day before and two

days after the event if you wish to extend your stay to vacation in St. Louis!
