ABIDOT shortens programming times considerably. ABIDOT increases the quality of the welds through opti-mum positioning and consistent spacing of the torch tothe work piece.ABIDOT reduces the costs for programming times andoffers savings during rework and quality control.

ABIDOT is the new clever tool for touchless programmingof welding robots.

The programming aid ABIDOT is simply screwed onto therobot torch in place of the gas nozzle, and is used for theprogramming process. After pushing the "ON-switch", fourlaser LEDs light up. These are concentrically arranged aroundthe center of the torch and in a precisely defined angle toone another. All four beams meet in an adjustable focalpoint in front of the power nozzle, the TCP (Tool CenterPoint).

The optimum torch position has been reached when allfour laser LED’s are combined to only a single focal pointon the work-piece.

The process-related wire stick-out can be adjusted with ascale on the ABIDOT. This facilitates in obtaining the correctdistance during programming and the optimum penetrationduring welding.

Optimum accessibility is also guaranteed during the pro-gramming process because the programming aid, ABIDOT,can be freely moved around the Z-axis.

With the use of adapter sleeves, ABIDOT may be used forthe most common ABICOR BINZEL torch types with screw-ongas nozzles, such as ABIROB® A 500 / W 500, WH A 500 /W 500 / 505, 652D TS and VTS 500.

ABIDOT is available as of January 2011!

Sie sind konzentrisch um die Brennermitte undin einem präzise definierten Anstellwinkel zueinander ange-ordnet. Alle vier Strahlen treffen sich in einem einstellbarenArbeitspunkt vor der Stromdüse – dem TCP (Tool CenterPoint).

Die optimale Brennerposition ist dann erreicht, wenn aufdem Werkstück nur ein einziger Punkt abgebildet wird, zudem sich die Strahlen der 4 Laserdioden vereinen.

Der prozessbedingt notwendige Stick-Out des Drahtes –das „freie Drahtende“ – kann am ABIDOT mit Hilfe einerSkala fest eingestellt werden. Das ermöglicht den richtigenAbstand beim Programmieren und somit den optimalenEinbrand während des Schweißens.

Auch während des Programmiervorgangs ist eine nahezuuneingeschränkte Zugänglichkeit gegeben, denn die Pro-grammierhilfe ABIDOT ist frei um die Z-Achse des Brennersbeweglich.
