• 114 women encountered in brothels of which 75% displayed indicators of being trafficking (ILO)\.
• 62 cases referred by NGO'S
• Others identified direct
• Of these, the biggest groups are Romanian (28%), Nigerian (17%) and Chinese(15%)
• Since April 2010 SC&O9 have made 142 arrests for trafficking resulting in 55% of all UK convictions.

• If from today we save one person from the horrors of trafficking it has been worth while. However, I believe we now have the opportunity to embark on a process to save many from this human tragedy
