BANG!!
Canada Day Celebrations/Fireworks Mel Lastman Square
(5100 Yonge Street, Toronto) o Celebrate Canada's birthday with a
free fun-filled evening of live music, dance performances, family activities, and a spectacular musical fireworks show!
Harbourfront Centre (235 Queens Quay W, Toronto)
o Check out the dynamic duo – Sharon & Bram at 2pm then don’t miss the best fireworks show in the city, exploding over Lake Ontario.
Downsview Park (35 Carl Hall Road, North York)
o For North York residents, Downsview Park is your best bet, as it holds its own half-hour fireworks show starting at dusk.
Centennial Park (256 Centennial Rd, Etobicoke)
o Canada Day conveniently falls on the final day of Ribfest in Centennial Park, so if you want dinner and a show this is ideal. The fireworks will start at 10pm
East York Canada Day Parade/Stan Wadlow Park
(88 Cosburn Avenue, East York)o The Parade starts at 9:30am at
Dieppe Park (just east of Greenwood Ave.) travelling through East York finishing at Stan Wadlow Park. Activities in Stan Wadlow Park begin at 12 noon, followed a fantastic fireworks show!
Thomson Memorial Park (1007 Brimley Rd, Scarborough)o Games, inflatables, live
entertainment and music! Annual Parade commencing at 4pm!
Weston Lions Park (2125 Lawrence Ave. W, Toronto)
o Birthday celebrations begin at 5pm! The festivities include: live entertainment, food, children’s activities. Fireworks begin 10pm
High Park (1873 Bloor St. W, Toronto)
o There will be children’s activities, live music, games and fun for all ages!

baby llamas! High Park Zoo is a free and family-friendly attraction!
Riverdale Farm (201 Winchester St.) o Riverdale Farm offers visitors a

o This free downtown farm, has over 40 species of farm animals and exotic birds.

(supervised) beach, walking trails, picnic tables and scenic
look-out points.

Ingredients
2-3 ice cubes
A small handful of blueberries
½ banana
1/3 cup milk
2 tbsp vanilla yogurt
Homemade Playdough
Ingredients
Bowl #1 Bowl #2
1 cup flour ½ cup hot water
2 tsp cream of tartar salt
1 tbsp oil food colouring
Directions
1. Combine ingredients in bowls.
2. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Stir!
3. Knead the ingredients until dough is
formed
