Not only are our movements assembled in Japan, but every part used in Miyota movements is manufactured at our Japanese plants, which enables us to ensure their quality. In addition, the parts we use are primarily metal, which assures high precision, durability and ease of assembly and disassembly during maintenance and repair. The many micrometer-sized precision parts are all made using our advanced manufacturing technology including the precise molding technology only artisans can achieve. The production process is also strictly controlled using our QCD (quality, control and delivery) system. The parts are then assembled using our high-speed automatic production lines at Miyota’s Saku Factory in Nagano prefecture. This leading-edge facility was completed in 2016 and assembles precision movements at the speed of one unit per second. This efficient production of high quality movements is made possible by use of automatic assembly lines developed in-house through the extensive knowledge and experience of our skilled engineers.
