DID YOU KNOW? There’s a quick way to save.

Customer Choice Customer Choice is the power to choose your own electricity and natural gas supplier. As your energy delivery company, we encourage you to visit BGE.COM/CustomerChoice, to learn more about your energy supply options, how to choose and switch and compare supply prices.

Whether you choose a new supplier or not, BGE will continue to deliver your gas and electricity, maintain the gas and power lines, restore your power after an outage and provide emergency service.

To provide you with more energy information directly from licensed gas and electricity suppliers, the Maryland Public Service Commission has authorized BGE to provide them with a customer list that only includes account names, account addresses and billing addresses. Phone numbers are not included on the list. If you do not want your information shared, you can exclude yourself from the list by visiting the supplier contact opt out section on BGE.COM/CustomerChoice or by calling 800.685.0123.

Thanks to your feedback,We’re introducing new customer tools.

NEW WEBSITE The responsive design of BGE’s new site offers an optimized online experience from any mobile device, tablet or desktop. The upgraded navigation improves access to account information and available services making it easy for you to view your usage and report and check the status of an outage — anytime, anywhere.

NEW LOOK FOR YOUR BGE BILL COMING SOON BGE’s monthly energy bill will have a new look beginning in October. Thanks to your feedback, we’ve made your bill simpler and easier to understand. Colorful graphics will provide an overview of your energy charges and usage, and detailed consumption data will be better organized and easier to find. For more information, visit BGE.COM/Billing.

Carbon Monoxide Safety Carbon monoxide poisoning is usually caused by incomplete combustion and inadequate ventilation. Signs of buildup of this colorless, odorless gas include:

• Stuffy, stale or smelly air • High humidity • Soot from fireplaces or furnaces

The best treatment for overexposure is to get lots of fresh air and immediate medical attention. To reduce your risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, gas and oil appliance manufactures recommend a yearly safety check-up. A qualified heating contractor can perform this service. For more information, visit the safety and community section on BGE.COM.
