Ray Charles Plaza
At river front park, the statue of Charles holding court in the centre of the Plaza plays the piano. Since ray Charles was blind the text on the monument is also written in Braille. The monument has speakers so you can hear his music. Grab and sit at piano bench and enjoy the concert. An interesting monument to visit in a river front park.

Radium Springs Gardens
One of Georgia’s Seven Natural Wonders. One of the Albany GA Attractions is Radium Springs. Walk through Radium Springs Garden courtyard where the former Radium Springs Casino once stood. Enjoy crystal clear waters, foliage-draped hillocks and pleasant environment. The park features a restored terrace, new side walks, gazebos and a casino garden.

Chehaw Wild Animal Park
The Chehaw Animal Park is situated in North of Albany. The number of wild animals in theirnatural habitat are cramped in cages. Park was designed by Jim Fowler of TVs Wild Kingdom.Walk down the board walks and see the Cypress Swamps, Elephants, Black Rhinos, cheetahs,Zebras, Bald Eagles, etc. There are also a Children's Farm and an Amphitheatre. You can also findConcession Stand with snacks and drinks and a gift shop on site. The Chehaw Animal Park offerscamping, petting zoo, state’s largest play parks, ride the miniature train, hiking, BMX bike racingand disc golf. It is definitely worth a visit.

Flint RiverQuarium
The Flint RiverQuarium follows the river’s amazing 350-mile journey to the Gulf of Mexico, andthe 175,000-gallon Blue Hole is one of only a few open-air aquariums in the world. Get a uniquelook at southwest Georgia’s mysterious underwater world with more than 100 species of fish,alligators, turtles and other aquatic animals. The Cypress Pond Aviary is home to more than 30 birdsindigenous to the Flint River watershed. Next door is the Adventure Center which houses changingexhibitions and the Imagination Theater, the area’s only large screen format theater.
