Alerts• The page with all currently active bad Alarms, for which a

user have a read permission• The Alerts page is in tabular form with an automatic

refresh period with following columns:• Level – Level of Alarm importance, coloured from yellow to red• Monitor@Item - HTML link to a page of master Monitor and

Devices/Ports• Alert Messages – Message that is defined on the Alarm• Duration – Total duration of the active Alarm • Time – date and time of the latest Monitor execution

Event Log• The page with a list of all Alarms activated during a period

of time, for which the user has a read permission• Bad and Good Alarms are shown and their appearance is in

accordance• Event filtering and navigation

Event Log• Events are shown in a table, sorted by time with the latest

events at the beginning• Level – Level of Alarm importance• Item - In the form of "Monitor@[Port description] Port.Device.Location"• Messages – Message that is defined on the Alarm• Time – date and time of the event occurring, i.e. Alarm activation• Select Icon – This icon selects the current item (Monitor) and shows only

events that are related to this Monitor • SLA report for the selected element, to view the statistics of the

service quality (SLA management).• Edit Icon – pop-up window for additional information and comments

related to the actual event (for bookkeeping and SLA management).

Checking the quality that is agreed with the provider is called

• Based on individual events from the Event Log, related to good and bad Alarm activations

• Register all intervals of failure during a larger time period• Calculates the statistics related to the service operation and

outages during the given time

Search• Serves for searching the data hierarchy of the information

system• The search is performed for selected object types based on

the selected attributes (name, address, property or object key)

• The search result lists all matched object • Click on the individual object in the list shows the object

details in Main panel

Address Space Search• Available from any part of the NetIIS system hierarchy• "Show Address Space" command on the Object Command

menu• Address Space Search is applied at the hierarchy below the

current object• At the first load, page will generate a list of all Locations

and their IP address spaces

• by IP address and prefix length• by the type of object (Locations, Devices and Ports)• optional checkbox for including a Discovered Folder

• Displayed search results include all matched sub‑addresses

• longer address prefixes • host addresses of the objects which are included in the

Syslog• Syslog server :

• Receives syslog messages form equipment • Stores them into the database

• Syslog Viewer• Shows messages in tabular form • Advanced filtering options:

• selecting device• selecting time period• severity (level)• text string matches part of the message

Download Standalone Application

• Download NetIIS application for your desktop computer• Note: For proper work of application we recommend installation of  

Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0

• Download  NetIIS application.

• Go to Java Application Cache Viewer(Start->Run->javaws), find NetIIS application and in corresponding pop-up menu chooose 'Install shortcuts'. This will place NetIIS shortcut on your desktop.

• Download file   NetIISConfiguration.ini   and place it in the same directory where shortcut is. Open file, find 'serverIP' property in [Server] section and enter IP address of your NetIIS server.

• Run NetIIS application by double clicking on its shortcut.
