• Where should the focus be?– First on the learning outcome– Second on the learners– Then the tools

• Lots of focus on:– individualizing learning– meeting all the students needs

• Is this possible? Yes, but it isn’t the easy way– pressures of teaching– pressure to be ready

• Security in the known
