Project Statement

• The Tool Development Exercise is an immersive training experienced designed to help qualified developers in learning how to design and build Sakai tools.

Data Table Tool

• A data base table of up to 10 columns.

• Data is displayed as a table– Columns correspond to data fiels.– Rows correspond to records.

• Each cell is live and can be edited.

• Rows can be deleted.

• Some way to update the table.

VOIP Tool

• Voice over IP would be very useful to Sakai projects and research.

• Point to point audio connection (1 to 1)

• Audio broadcast (1 to many)

• Audio teleconferencing (many to many)

Structured Content Tool

• A way to define text templates, represented by something like XForm.

• A way to create an instance based on a previously created template.

• Display existing instances.

• Edit existing instances.

• OSPI has something like this already.
