Dear Parents & Students, Thank you for joining us for our Five Week Summer Session! The following is information regarding our classes, studio policies and procedures, and our week of sharing. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us at 610.746.2818, email us at [email protected] or [email protected], or see Miss Nicole at the office. ~Miss Tanya~ Handicap Parking- You must have a handicap tag or license plate indicating you may park in the handicap spaces. Please do not park in any of the reserved spaces. Dropping off and picking up outside of the studio entrance is prohibited. Please find a parking space and walk you son/daughter into the studio. We ask that you please refrain from throwing footballs, baseballs, etc. near parked cars. Students should arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their class time to put their shoes on and be ready to go. Students are to wait in the waiting area or the dressing room until their teachers calls them back to class. *Parents with younger/pre-school children- please stay in the waiting area while class in is session. Please discuss with your son/daughter if you are picking him/her up in the waiting area or in the parking lot. If you are picking your child up in the parking lot, please advise them they will need to walk to where your car is parked. Cars are not permitted to wait outside of the studio entrance/curb to pick up for safety reasons. Please do not block the parking spaces so cars can pull out. Please be prompt when picking up your son/daughter from their class. Once classes are dismissed we will allow a 10 minute window for pick up. Please note, there is no supervision in the waiting area or in the dressing room. *Teachers will leave at the end of the night, and if students are not picked up within 10 minutes, you will be charged. Parents are to wait in the waiting area while classes are in session. We ask that you please refrain from peeking in the studio doors, as this creates a distraction to the students. Please monitor any other children that are with you, and please keep the hallway leading to the classrooms clear. Our office is for staff only. If you have any questions or would like to look at our EOD clothing and dance attire, please come to the office window and our Office Manager, Miss Nicole will assist you J The office is generally open from 4-7pm Monday-Thursday during our summer session. Food and drink are permitted in the waiting area only, not in the classrooms or in the dressing room. Please help keep our waiting area clean by properly disposing of your food/drinks. *Students may bring a water bottle to class (water only, please). A water cooler is available for your use in the waiting area. The cooler does not have a drain. Please do not pour water out in to the cooler; you can use the sink in the bathroom. Both bathrooms are available for your use. Please accompany young children while in the bathrooms. NEXT WEEK: MONDAY, JULY 17-THURSDAY, JULY 20 All students are welcome to bring a friend (of similar age) to class during this week! Friends will be able to participate in class, so they should wear something comfortable to dance in. Any student who has their friend enroll for the rest of the summer will receive a FREE EOD water bottle or EOD tank top or EOD shorts ~ your choice J

Students will be receiving the 2017-2018 brochure and schedule with an announcement to enroll via email. Please read through the brochure, and after you choose a class, go to the shoes & attire tab to see what is needed. Also, since you are enrolled in our summer session, your 2017-2018 registration fee is waived!

• Online Registration will begin once you receive the email. Announcements will be made on our social media pages too. Simply visit our website to enroll in the classes of your choice! o Since you are now a current student, log on to your Parent Portal to select your classes for next season (a registration link to direct you to

your parent portal will be on our website homepage). § Please note when enrolling:

Ø Select your classes and make sure a valid credit card is listed in your account. Ø In order for discounts to be applied, do not submit your payment, just select your classes. Ø Once your registration has been received by the office, we will process your primary credit card and apply any

discounts. Ø If you process your card yourself, discounts will not automatically be applied- an account credit will be issued to use

at a later date, refunds will not be issued. o If you’ve never logged on to your Parent Portal, you will need to create a password. A short video is available on the login page to help you

become familiar with your portal. • Other Registration Options:

o Print a copy of the registration form from the website and mail/drop off at the studio with your September’s Tuition. o Open House to Register and Purchase Shoes & Attire

§ Thursday, August 3rd from 5pm-7pm § Tuesday, August 8th from 2pm-4pm § Monday, August 28th from 5pm-7pm § Wednesday, September 6th from 5pm-7pm - * This is your last chance to purchase shoes and attire before classes begin.

• Don’t wait until an Open House to register for classes! Classes will fill up quickly, so we recommend registering online right away and then visit us at an Open House to purchase the required shoes and attire. There will be a coupon in the brochure for all August Open Houses to use on shoes and attire J Simply print and bring it to one of the August Open House dates to use.

• Once a class is at its maximum, a wait list will be available. To get your son/daughter on the waitlist for a closed class, use the online registration link and select Wait List. *You will not be charged unless a spot opens up in the class—in the event this happens, you will be contacted prior to your card being charged. Please note, we cannot guarantee a space will open.

• If you have any questions on class placement, please email/speak with your son’s/daughter’s teacher this summer, or contact the office and we can help you out! The teacher’s email address can be found on our website under ABOUT US/STAFF.

The staff and I all look forward to meeting new students and reconnecting with former students this summer! Here’s to a fabulous summer of creating new memories at Expression of Dance!

Mark your calendar for our week of sharing!! You are invited into your son’s/daughter’s class during the last week of class (Aug 7th-10th) for the last 15 minutes of class to observe what the class has been learning this summer. Siblings are invited too! Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture what the students will be sharing with you!
