• New area vision: establishing long-term status as industrial district; towards a public-private area organization
• Transfer yields ERDF to area organization
Challenges
• Invite companies and other stakeholders in the area to create a joint approach and objective
• Where are the energy and initiative in the area? Start formulating feasible ambitions from there
• Convert this into a core ambition (“creative, circular manufacturing area”)
• Create a multi-year project with a focus on collaboration and knowledge transfer
• Ensure a few short term, iconic, high-profile results that make others believe in the ambition and make them to want to participate
• Involve existing entrepreneurs in the area in the transformation
