www.tonyredhouse.net Tony Redhouse Tony Redhouse, of the Navajo nation, is a Native American sound healer, spiritual teacher, inspirational speaker, Eagle/Hoop dancer and award winning recording artist who uses his voice and music to move communities, worldwide. He is founder of Native American Yoga and is a certified instructor. Tony has served as a traditional Native American practitioner & consultant to Native American communities and behavioral health organizations teaching seminars in Native American culture, spirituality and arts/crafts to children and adults. Tony has developed a cultural based curriculum for all ages that incorporates Native spirituality as a solution to drug, alcohol and gang related issues, through meditation circles, storytelling, music and dance. His services have been requested from the corporate world, entertainment industry, to agencies supporting hospice work, substance abuse recovery and individuals suffering from cancer and emotional trauma. Tony has numerous credits as a percussionist, conga drummer and vocalist with a diversity of artists from Native American, Latin-Jazz, Hip-Hop to Salsa orchestras! He is a two-time winner of the Native American Music Awards and nominated for a third. His discography includes the albums: “Harmony of East & West – 2013; “Release” -2011; "Deep Within" - 2008; "Soul Blessings" -2003; "Journey to the Four Winds" -2001. Tony participated in a PBS ARTS Recording with Arizona Illustrated to be aired January 16, 2014 pm. He presented to the “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in the summer of 2013 (Season 5, aired Sept.1st)He was a featured guest on the Dr.Oz show in 2012. His collaborative partners have included The Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, Production Broadcast (2010): “Pyoor Native.” He was the host of his own television program, the "Tony Redhouse Show" on Access Tucson TV in Tucson, Arizona from Sept. 6, 2007- Sept. 4, 2008. He has performed in live concerts with Seal's "Game of Chants" Band and the late Vince Welnick of the Grateful Dead. He was filmed as an interviewee in the documentary, “Death Makes Life Possible, featuring Deepak Chopra. Some of his current projects include World Fusion music, videos and presenting Native American traditional ceremonies at Miraval Resort in Tucson. Tony incorporates Native American art forms to inspire and heal lives; he has successfully bridged the gap between cultures, social groups, races and ages.
