This project included the revamp of the existing unit. Tommy LeBeau’s primary focus as a mechanical summer intern was the formation of bid tab evaluations for rotating equipment, specifically pumps. His role was to compare different vendor data and make recommendations as to which piece of equipment was best suited for the required process specifications. (5/2014 – 8/2014)

Methanex: Chile to Geismar ProjectThis project included a scope responsibility of relocating an entire plant from Chile, South America to Geismar, LA. Tommy LeBeau’s primary focus as the mechanical summer intern was working to prepare bid tab evaluations for various pieces of equipment including: a steam desuperheater, cooling tower screens, and steam vent silencers. His role was to compare different vendor data and make recommendations as to which piece of equipment was best suited for the required process specifications. (5/2013 – 8/2014)
