Tom Chapin is an Principal Analyst with Open Text's Business Value Consulting (BVC) group.He is a former Navy F/A-18 Hornet pilot and 24 year retired Navy Reserve Captain. After 10years of active duty flying, Tom transitioned to consulting to public and private sector clientswhile employed by System Planning Corp., Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Open Text Corp., E&Y,and IBM Global Services. He has BS from Tufts University (Psychology) and a MS from theUniversity of Texas at Austin (Science & Technology Commercialization). He is a former adjunctprofessor at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. His currentassignment with Open Text's BVC team is to help customers articulate and understand thebusiness value of their investment in Enterprise Information Management (EIM). Tom and hiswife Betsy live in Raleigh, NC where they enjoy two grown children and two grandchildren.
