Crawford County Teacher of the Year Mercer Branch Manager, Donnie Wilkinson, recently presented a certificate of appreciation to Andre’ Carter, the Crawford County School System’s 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year. Mr. Carter, an 8th grade reading teacher at Crawford County Middle School, was named the system Teacher of the Year at an employee appreciation breakfast held on August 21, 2015. The Teacher of the Year was selected among 3 top teachers from the Crawford County School System.

The Mercer, Hartley Bridge, Bass and Lasseter branches recently collected school supplies for the Bibb County School District. Various items such as paper, pencils, composition notebooks, glue, pocket folders and facial tissue were donated by MidSouth Community’s generous members and staff. These supplies were distributed to area Elementary and Middle schools.
