Service Description

West Telecom Services aggregates and transports Toll Free traffic that originates within the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) and terminates that traffic to the appropriate toll free subscriber or service provider via a SIP handoff.

TFT is a one-way (inbound to customer only) service.

• RFC 3261 for call delivery via VOIP SIP protocol

• Public internet or customer-provided dedicated IP interconnection

• Supports G 711 and G 729 audio codecs

− Supports high audio quality G 711 or high bandwidth efficiency G 729 audio codecs

• Fax support for G 711 (in-band). G 729 codec users should fall back to G 711 when fax/modem conversations occur.
