Bringing the joy of sports car driving to even more people01
One of our dreams is to let more people enjoy truly sporty driving, in which driver and automobile become as one. That’s why we began development of the Honda S660 Concept next-generation sports car. It had to be small—but still the real deal. The kind of car that makes an owner proud. More than anything, it needed to be totally original—totally Honda. To accomplish this challenging goal, we put all our heart and all our technology into it. The advanced exterior styling proclaims its identity as a sports car, while the Super Cockpit Interior represents the further evolution of driver-centered design. In every detail, the Honda S660 Concept takes the open-top sports-type mini-vehicle in a revolutionary direction. A new way to experience the joy of a sports car, the Honda S660 Concept is a big Honda dream that is starting to look very real.

A Honda sports car is all about the driver. So for this sports car we aimed to create the most advanced driving environment possible. To let the driver focus completely on the driving experience, we took the machine-driver interface to the next level. The result is an extremely sporty interior that merges high functionality with futuristic flair.
Based on Honda’s own exciting car design concept, the exterior styling has a concentrated, energetic feel. The body features a taut overall form contrasted with boldly projecting fenders. The side character lines rise up dramatically from front to rear, while the rear roof behind the headrests slopes elegantly down. The body perfectly conveys the dynamic driving experience offered by this advanced roadster.

The sharp, slit-like headlights outlined by front position lamps provide an advanced impression. The rear combination lamps integrated with the rear grill contribute to the highly original rear design. Together, these elements emphasize the fresh individuality of this next-generation roadster.

With all the passion of its creation, the spirit of Honda’s first automobile returns after 50 years
This year, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Honda automobile sales. To commemorate the passion of our predecessors and the technology they created, we wanted to do something special. The Sports 360 was the first automobile we presented to the public, but it never went into production. Based on the original drawings and other information, we brought back to life this classic convertible roadster, which featured Japan’s first DOHC engine and many other revolutionary technologies. With this advanced sports car, Honda took on the challenge of creating automobiles for the first time.

From powertrain to chassis to cockpit, the NSX Concept is human-centered in every aspect of its design. While delivering outstanding environmental performance and fuel economy, the NSX Concept offers an entirely new dimension of control, in which driver and machine become as one. The key technology is Sport Hybrid SH-AWD®
(Super Handling All Wheel Drive), which features a midship-mounted direct injection V6 engine, a dual clutch transmission with an internal high-efficiency motor, and an electric motor for each front wheel. Leveraging this advanced system, the NSX Concept brings in a new era for the super sports car. Honda’s proprietary torque control system manages left and right drive torque independently with high precision, delivering a revolutionary cornering-on-rails steering feel. The exterior design is clean, simple and modern, and the low, wide, powerful and flowing styling emphasizes the exceptional performance of the vehicle. Designed to be a human support cockpit, the interior offers the driver a wide field of view, an exotic driving position and a highly intuitive interface. In this environment, the driver can focus completely on the driving experience.

03In the future Honda envisions, people enjoy comfortable and convenient lives in a smart society that is in harmony with the natural environment. Honda’s goal is to create mobility that is optimized for every situation and objective, increasing the joy that freedom of movement has to offer. Honda’s MC-β micro-sized EV is a new type of mobility ideal for such a lifestyle. Fulfilling Honda’s concept of putting humans’ space first, MC-β offers a surprising amount of space for people in a micro-sized body. Moreover, its friendly and simple design helps people spend time productively and enjoyably in a wide range of situations. Since each user’s imagination is the only limitation, the MC-β brings a new level of enjoyment to life. Offering a wealth of Honda inspiration and technology in a small body, MC-β is now the focus of an ongoing field test performed in cooperation with local governments in Japan.

Field testing begins in Saitama City, Miyakojima City and Kumamoto Prefecture
In ongoing field testing, Kumamoto Prefecture, Saitama City and Miyakojima City in Okinawa Prefecture are introducing the MC-β micro-sized EV. The experiment seeks to evaluate how micro-sized mobility can contribute to urban environments and to address issues in using them in full-scale in transportation. The goal is to determine how such vehicles can help meet the needs of modern society.

Offering a completely new type of value to users, this next-generation form of mobility shows what can happen when we let go of the past and conventional wisdom. When we dream in complete freedom. UNI-CUB β leverages the balance control technology we developed for our humanoid robot ASIMO and features the Honda Omni Traction Drive System, our original omni-directional drive wheel system. Thanks to these technologies, this new personal mobility system gives the rider freedom of movement similar to human walking. The rider can move forward, backward, left, right and in any diagonal direction. To control UNI-CUB β, the rider simply leans and shifts body weight in the desired direction. In offices, commercial facilities and many other places where mobility has been difficult to implement, UNI-CUB β can offer more people the joy and convenience of freedom of movement. To fulfill our vision of mobility in harmony with people, we designed UNI-CUB β to have a compact size perfect for riding among walking people, to merge with the rider attractively and to feel like a natural part of the surrounding space. Starting in 2012,
we have been conducting demonstration testing of UNI-CUB at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (also known as Miraikan). Based on the results obtained, we are further enhancing UNI-CUB β’s materials and making it even more lightweight, easy-to-use and user-friendly.

05 A multifaceted approach to value creates value of a completely new and original type. The Vezel is a powerful SUV, an elegant coupe and a high-utility minivan—all in one distinctive vehicle. The lower body emphasizes SUV stability, while the upper body features the flowing lines of a coupe. The side character lines unify these two personalities, completing the dynamic and emotional design. Inside, the broad instrument panel and the advanced and refined high-deck center console define the personal space of the front seats. In the roomy rear seats and generous, easy-to-use cargo area, the Vezel expresses its minivan comfort and utility. Moreover, customers in Japan will be able to select from two next-generation powertrains, gasoline engine and hybrid. After launching the Vezel in Japan, we plan to make this advanced CUV available in markets around the world.

The N Series transcends the minicar concept to create a newly evolved category of its own. The fourth member of the N Series, N-WGN is a new basic vehicle. Featuring a bold design altogether new in the world of minicars, N-WGN seats four adults in comfort. Its generous cargo area can accommodate their luggage as well. In addition to combining fun driving with high fuel economy, N-WGN features an outstanding suite of safety technologies. VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) helps prevent oversteer and understeer, six airbags enhance safety in the event of a collision, and the City-Brake Active System helps the driver avoid rear-end collisions while driving in urban areas. To bring joy to as many customers as possible, we put everything people want from a minicar into one vehicle: N-WGN.

When a vehicle approaches and enters the blind spot diagonally to the rear of the driver, a light appears on the appropriate side mirror. Further, if the driver uses the turn signal on that side, a warning sounds and the light flashes.

Using laser radar, this system is designed to detect the presence of vehicles in the forward direction at speeds of 30 km/h or lower. To prevent or mitigate the damage of a collision, the system is designed to provide braking inputs automatically as necessary. The system is also designed to prevent inadvertent acceleration from standstill when an object is present ahead.

Long and low with triangular proportions, this motor-
cycle features Honda’s own 1,800 cc horizontally
opposed 6-cylinder engine. It’s a street muscle cruiser
with a presence unlike any other bike. Leveraging all the
performance its flat-6 has to offer, this motorcycle
produces a growling exhaust note at low rpms, accom-
panied by a smooth, powerful riding feel. Opening the
throttle up produces a low, satisfying roar and a surging
acceleration feel. In both engine sound and riding style,
the Goldwing F6C offers two opposite yet complimen-
tary personalities. The headlight, turn signals, tail light
and all other lighting are 100% LED, while the turn signal
auto-cancel function and other features enhance rider
convenience. With a presence and riding feel altogether
different from a V-twin bike, this cruiser has a muscular
charisma all its own.

With the young and young-at-heart as its main target, this
50 cc-class scooter offers comfort and convenience for
commutes to school and work and other daily uses. The
plain and neutral design image reflects youthful people’s
comfort with information technology and smart devices,
and the molded line on each body side and LED tail light
help create a high-quality presence. The comfortable
packaging allows the user to ride upright in a relaxed
position and with considerable leg space for a compact
scooter. In addition to exceptional environmental perfor-
mance, the newly developed liquid-cooled eSP—Honda’s
first in this series of powerplants for a 50 cc scooter—offers
comfortable and powerful hill-climbing and off-the-line
acceleration. Like the PCX, this scooter features the ACG
starter, making startup extremely quiet, while low-friction
technologies and an idling stop system help achieve
outstanding fuel economy. The large luggage compart-
ment can hold a full-face helmet as well as a rain poncho
and other small items, and the large luggage hook is ideal

concept of comfort technology experience. While the
Honda-original design focuses on horizontal flow, the
vertical alignment of the V4 engine and exhaust system
gives this bike a strong presence. Elements like the
quadruple LED headlight and wide rear tire go beyond
traditional styles to unify the powerful, refined design.
The 1,300 cc V4 engine features easy-handling, excellent
output characteristics and a satisfying beating feel. The
low center of gravity and low seat help produce light
and nimble handling that enhances the rider’s sense of
security, and stability is also outstanding at higher
speeds. The short screen and saddlebags are standard
equipment, helping the rider enjoy urban cruising and

From city riding to weekend touring, this bike offers
sporty but comfortable riding at its finest. The styling is
likewise sporty and elegant, and the V4 engine offers
plenty of power. It all adds up to a sports tourer that
appeals to people who know what riding is all about.
Like its predecessors bearing the VFR brand, this bike
combines a refined design with advanced amenities.
The V4 engine features an uneven firing interval to
produce a distinctive sound, and the Honda Traction
Control System and Pro-Arm single-sided swingarm
rear suspension help create a sophisticated riding
experience. The LED headlights in their characteristic X
configuration create an instantly recognizable VFR front
face, while the tail light is also composed of LEDs.
Adding to rider convenience are grip heaters for cold
weather comfort, turn signals with auto-cancel function

features newly designed wheels, a smaller muffler and a Honda wing badge on the
fuel tank, while a slimmer side cover allows the feet to reach the ground more easily.

ence even more polished. The 6-speed transmission keeps riding sporty while
enhancing quietness and fuel economy on long tours. The meters are all-new as well,
displaying more functions than ever, including gear position. The optional top box
accessory adds extra convenience for commuting and touring.
The styling features a new half-cowl and a striking
LED headlight. The 6-speed transmission enhances
quietness and fuel economy, and the updated

The engine of this standard naked sports bike is a liquid-cooled inline-4 featuring
HYPER VTEC Revo, which makes riding a truly exhilarating experience. The newly
designed front and rear wheels and seat cowl give a further touch of style to the
exterior. The left/right-divided grab rail makes two-person riding more comfort-
able, the new handlebar position provides an upright riding posture, and the new
seat covering enhances rider comfort. Moreover, the multifunction meters include
indicators for ambient temperature, fuel economy and gear position. More
evolved than ever, this bike is ideal for both urban riding and touring.
Offering all the riding appeal of the CB400 Super Four,
this bike has a half cowl and other features for cruising
comfort. The styling is completely new, and so are the
left/right-divided grab rail, handlebar position, seat cover-
ing, multifunction meters and LED headlight. The half cowl
nicely completes the design, giving the fuel tank, engine

version elevates the CBR to a higher level of sportiness. It also boasts a wealth of
exclusive features, including front brake caliper by Brembo, front fork and rear
suspension by Öhlins and Diablo Supercorsa SP tires by Pirelli. In addition, the seat
rails feature holes to reduce weight, and the pillion seat and foot pegs have been
eliminated, resulting in a single-rider bike that offers an even sportier riding experience.
From urban riding to suburban touring, this road sports bike offers easy handling for a
wide range of uses. With styling based on the CBR1000RR super sport bike, it features
completely updated front, middle and rear cowls. The new dual headlights further

Integra offers displacement boosted to 750 cc along with more powerful torque character-
istics in the lower rpm range. A two-axis balancer helps reduce unwanted vibration,
making this bike even easier and more fun to ride, while the high-ratio transmission
enhances fuel economy. In addition, the new aluminum swingarm and updated design give
the model a more motorbike-like appearance. The meters now include a fuel economy
display, and the brake lever features a new adjuster. To enhance comfort, there is more room
in the knee area, the feet reach the ground more easily, and the floor is larger as well.
With its simple, naked styling, this bike presents a powerful and dynamic design.
At the same time, it offers the linear handling characteristics that make motorcycle
