Super Runners SMART-LAP series, including Tokyo Marathon Limited Edition, are
equipped with the Smart Lap function and the Marathon Mode.
Marathon Mode
A function that automatically measures the
lap time in response to the radio waves
emitted from the measurement mats
installed on the marathon course.
Smart Lap function
If you set the mode by the day before the
race, all you have to do on the race day is to
press the stop button!
This mode is prepared for the automated use
of the Smart Lap function at the event.

The gross time is the elapsed hours, minutes, and seconds from the start time;
meanwhile the net time is measured from the moment each runner crosses the
start line.
Long press Button③ to perform the record �nish operation; the �nal lap time
acquired at the �nish line will be automatically recorded.At the Finish Line
Basically, no operation is required.
The function automatically measures lap time responding to measurement mats
on the course installed by the organizers of the race.To obtain lap time at an arbitrary point, press Button④.
On the Marathon Course
No operation is required.
The mode automatically changes to the Marathon Mode 30 minutes before
the start time according to the information input in advance.
The upper row displays the countdown and the Smart Lap stand-by state starts at
the same time.
When it reaches the starting time, measurement begins automatically.
※The Marathon Mode locks button operations until the starting time to prevent
operational errors.
At the Starting Point
Set the race information: the date, the start time and limit time.
It is recommended to input the information by the day before the race.
Press Button① one or more times to show “MM SET” display.Long press Button① under “MM SET” display to engage setting mode.Press Button④ to select the item to be adjusted, press Button② and ③ to set
the digits.After setting all the items, press Button① again to complete the operations.
Then, press Button④ to select the Gross Time display or the Net Time display.
