History of the partnership

The idea of cooperation occurred in November 2004 at a conference. Then both parties had informed their colleagues and received positive support.The work then continued within the ranges

of eTwinning - registration, theme choosing, and making the timeline.In Sept 2005 teachers from Komárno visited

school in Budapest, where the declaration of the partnership has been signed by the principals.

The aim of the project

Analyze the eating habits of our students Survey the situation of the communal

feeding at schools Make the students acquainted with the

healthy eating habits and healthy food Map the curriculum and find where the

topic occurs Widen the traditional partnership

Making digital materials which will boost healthy eating habits.

Helping and exchanging educational methods with each other.

Making certain subjects more interesting by presentations and videos. Involving parents in the project. Popularization of the portal „SDT” and

„Infovek”, and usage of these projects.

Results and issues Schools in partnership inspire ini-

tiations that benefit both teachers and pupils.

Pupils work with great entusiasm and happily get acquainted with the other schools´ teachers and pupils.

They are happy to see their works on the website. This way they develop a certain responsibility for their finished products. They try harder knowing that these products could be seen by anyone after publishing.

Analysing the results, the created documents and developing a digital curriculum which later would be presented on the web (perhaps on CD).

Participation on each others´ school programs.

Organizing a common ski-camp. Our idea is to nominate a joint team of

the two partner schools to enter the web-creating contest of ThinkQuest international in „Health” category.

Expansion of the topic: healthy diet, and further emphasizing the importance of healthy lifestyle, sports and physical activity.

Organizing a common tour-camp.

School year 2007/2008

Introduction of health destructive habits, like alcohol, drugs, smoking with the intention of deterrence.
