Nakatakda na ring itaas angsingil sa mga tren sa Kamaynilaanhabang humihingi rin ng dagdagsa pasahe ang mga operaytor ngbus.
Sinabi ng LTFRB na pinayagangmagtaas ng singil ang mga jipniupang makabawi sa tumataas dinghalaga ng mga bilihin.
“The provisional increase wasgranted because the board tookjudicial notice that the prices ofgoods have been going up, as wellas the cost of maintaining jeepneyoperations, affecting the livelihoodof operators,” ani LTFRB boardmember Manuel Iway.
“While the interest of the pub-lic is still the main concern, wemust also protect the rights of thejeepney operators, who are serv-ing vital industries,” dagdag niya.
