In this e-magazine we present you a glance of our collaboration: all the

common final products. Looking back it seems easy to create and update a

web page, a blog and a facebook account, to produce an e-magazine,

posters brochures and other educational material, but when these

products represent the collaboration between five/ four European

countries, you’ll understand that it’s very simple. (At the beginning of our

project we were five partners, but in November 2013, The Turkish school

left the partnership. At the beginning of the school year 2014-15 the

Spanish school left it, too due to some difficulties. So, during this school

year only, the last one of the project, Greece, Poland and Portugal keep on

working together.) These activities involved effort because all partners

had to coordinate their work, communicated in a common foreign

language—English - and constantly developed their managerial skills. But

we have to recognise that, despite the difficulties, the national and

transnational teamwork gave us great professional and personal

satisfaction and that this project allowed us the opportunity to meet

personally the teachers and the pupils from other European countries,

during the project meetings and we could see their realities directly. We

had the possibility to exchange good practices between members of our

schools, we have seen teaching methods and materials and we shared

solutions to solve school situations and others.

We believe that our partnership will remain a beautiful memory for all the

participants and in the future we will continue working together with

schools we’ve already met.

Most sincerely,

All the project teamwork members from

Greece, Poland and Portugal

THE MULTILINGUAL COMMON

QUESTIONNAIRES

In 2013 at the beginning of the school year all partners applied a

questionnaire about students, parents, teachers and local community’s

expectations through the project.

Each school adapted the questionnaires to the age of their students. The

results were presented and discussed between all the partners.

Likewise other questionnaires will be applied at the end of the work to

evaluate the impact of the project in each school.

Students’ questionnaire:

Would you like to become a member of a NGO?

Do you think this kind of projects is a big opportunity for your school?

THE WEB PAGE

The Webpage was built and updated by the Portuguese team. It is a

simple webpage and it has a nice design in order that students, parents,

the local community and others could easily access to. All the articles were

written both in English and in the native language of the country which did

the activity and uploaded with photos. Materials (articles and photos)

were sent by the partners to the Portuguese team to be processed and

published. On this web page we can find links to the Project Blog and the

Facebook account. The website address was registered in some published

materials allowing thus a wider dissemination.

THE PROJECT’S BLOG

Making the Project’s Blog was an important milestone because most of

the common and local activities were presented here. The activities listed

here, in chronological order, are also found on the Webpage and on the

Facebook account. The Spanish team was responsible for it during the first

year of the project. During the second year (2014-2015) the Greek team

was in charge of updating it.

In the Project’s blog all the articles are written in English and in one of the

partners’ languages (Greek, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish).

THE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

We opened also a Facebook account where we shared with a lot of

different people our activities.

The Polish team built and updated it with all the information sent by the

other partners. As in the Webpage and the Blog all the information was

written into two different languages – Greek, Polish or Portuguese and

English.

To have all these three tools updating and working increased our ITC skills

and they can prove our great collaborative work.

THE PROJECT’S LOGO

The elaboration of the Project’s Logo was one of the first important

moments. Each partner organized a contest of drawings and the best one

was chosen to represent its country. During the first meeting in Izmir,

Turkey, we made an exhibition with all the winners national Logos and

voted for the best model. The Spanish Logo was elected and since then all

common products have the Logo printed.

The Turkish Logo

THE PROJECT’S POSTER

Making the Project’s Poster followed the same path as the realization of

the Project’s Logo. There have been many drawings made by all the

partners’ students. During the second meeting in Mytilene, Greece the

Polish Poster was selected.

It was a great competition and we are glad that it has stimulated the

artistic and sense and competitiveness between all the teams who have

worked hard and very seriously.

THE PROJECT’S BOOKLET

The Booklet achievement was made in the same way as other products of

the partnership – collaborative work.

The Greek team gathered all the information sent by all countries and

organized the final product which can be read at the Webpage. It was one

of the first products to be produced and gives information about the

schools partners and their countries.

THE PROJECT’S CALENDAR

We had the idea of creating a School Calendar which could be hanged in

each class, sold or given. During the meeting in Portugal (October2014) we

distributed the months between the different partners. Each country team

chose suggestive pictures and labelled them. Then they were sent to the

Portuguese team who was in charge of organizing all the information and

giving it a final form: The 2015 Calendar.

Students and teachers evaluated this product as very interesting and

especially useful for them in their everyday life.

THE PROJECT’S LEAFLET

One of the final common products was the Leaflet which was made by the

Polish team, using all the suggestions given by the other partners. This

beautiful product shows all the collaborative work done during the two

years of the project and it’s a way of disseminate it, since it was

distributed in the partners’ schools and local communities.

It can also be found at the project’s webpage.

Making this issue of the e-magazine was a way of putting together all the

common products of the partnership. There’s one yet to be done: a final

DVD showing not only these products, but also the volunteering activities

done during three of the four meetings – in Greece, Portugal and Poland.

When working on these products (writing and translating articles, taking

photos, choosing the best ones, doing the local volunteering activities...)

students developed different skills: communicative skills in their own

language and in English, increase the understanding for other cultures and

fostering values based on tolerance, solidarity, mutual understanding and

dialogue. In conclusion increase European citizens' understanding of the

building of Europe, and of their common yet diverse cultural heritage,

especially related to democratic values and human rights that underpin

the process of European integration.

The meetings were one of the highlights of the project since students

could use all those new skills and knowledge in loco.
