What does that mean for all FMS students?
It means you will not need to check in for attendance or classes on that day.
FMS Banner - Check your grades and attendance
Nurse Susan says … Get those health records in ASAP!
Attention all FMS 6th graders and new
students to District 186 Health records must be turned in
PRIOR to October 1, 2020. Students who do not turn them in will not be able to access virtual OR hybrid learning. All 6th graders need a
current physical and those immunizations. Anyone NEW to the
district must have a current physical with all those
immunizations.
How to take care of your Chromebook screen?Screen CareThe Chromebook screen can be damaged if subjected to heavy objects, rough treatment, some cleaning solvents, and other liquids. The screens are particularly sensitive to damage from excessive pressure.
● Do not put pressure on the top of a Chromebook when it is closed. ● Make sure there is nothing on the keyboard before closing the lid (e.g. pens, pencils, etc…).
● Warning: Absolutely do not use a paper towel or tissue. They might seem soft when blowing your nose, but they are extremely rough on scratch-prone displays.
● Shut down your laptop. Not only is it safer, but having a blank screen can help you see dust.
● Pressing gently on the display, use a microfiber cloth or dampen a sponge or lint-free cloth with water, to wipe in one direction. Don’t scrub or wipe in circles, as this could damage the display or just move the dust particles around.
● Continue wiping across the display until it’s dust-free.
