THE PUPILS HAVE STARTED TO INVESTIGATE THE WORK OF THE
ARTIST BERNARD PRAS …..
NEXT THEY TRIED OUT SOME TECHNIQUES RECYCLING THINGS THEY HAVE FOUND IN THE NATURAL WORLD….. .
NOW THEY ARE STUDYING THE WORKS OF A GREAT ITALIAN ARTIST, AND THEY ARE GOING TO CHOOSE ONE OF HIS MASTERPIECES AND RECREATE IT IN THE STYLE OF BERNARD PRAS
YOU WILL SEE THE RESULTS AT THE NEXT MEETING !

THIRD YEAR ART PROJECT
OUR PUPILS STUDIED A WORK OF THE ARTIST FROM MILAN,
GIUSEPPE ARCIMBOLDI, WHO LIVED FROM 1527 UNTIL 1593.
HIS WORK IS CLASSIFIED IN THE STYLE OF MANNERISM, AND
HE WORKED FOR MANY YEARS AT THE COURT OF THE
EMPEROR RUDOLF THE SECOND OF HABSBURG.
HE IS FAMOUS FOR CREATING PORTRAIT FIGURES FROM
VARIOUS OBJECTS, WHICH ALL HAVE SYMBOLIC MEANINGS.
THE STARTING POINT FOR OUR PUPILS TO PRODUCE THEIR “HEAD COMPOSITION” WAS “VERTUNNO", THE PORTRAIT OF RUDOLF THE SECOND OF HABSBURG.WORKING IN SMALL GROUPS, OUR STUDENTS CONSOLIDATED THEIR COOPERATION SKILLS AND THEY WERE ABLE TO SOCIALIZE WITH EACH OTHER WHILST RESPECTING THE RULES OF CORRECT BEHAVIOUR..
FIRST STAGE : A STUDY OF THE WORK IN ITS ECONOMICAL AND SOCIAL CONTEXT.
SECOND STAGE : ANALYSIS OF THE WORK.
THIRD STAGE : DESIGNING A PROJECT FOR THE RE-ELABORATION OF THE WORK
FOURTH STAGE : RECREATING A NEW WORK OF ART FOLLOWING THE PROJECT.

DESIGN AND MAKE OF A MODEL POWERED BY SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
WE WERE VERY HAPPY TO WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL PROFESSOR GIUSEPPE DINI, FROM THE “BRAMANTE” INSTITUTE IN FERMIGNANO FOR A SERIES OF SPECIAL WORKSHOP LESSONS TO THE YEAR 5 PUPILS.THESE WORKSHOPS WERE ABOUT RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES, AND OUR PUPILS DID SEVERAL HANDS-ON EXPERIMENTS.
CAGLI PRIMARY SCHOOL YEAR 5 : RENEWABLE ENERGY WORKSHOPS
WE CHOSE THE FIFTH YEAR NOT BECAUSE THE CHILDREN ARE THE OLDEST, BUT BECAUSE THE TEACHERS RETAINED THAT THIS ACTIVITY WOULD STIMULATE THE STUDENTS THAT HAVE MORE DIFFICULTY IN THEORETICAL LESSONS TO PARTICIPATE.
IN OUR TWO FIFTH YEAR CLASSES THERE ARE 44 STUDENTS, AND AMONG THESE THERE ARE TWO STUDENTS WITH COGNITIVE AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES AND SIX STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL LEARNING NEEDS.
DURING THE FOUR WORKSHOPS HELD BY PROFESSOR DINI ALL THE STUDENTS SHOWED A GREAT INTEREST AND CONSIDERABLE SATISFACTION IN THE RESULTS.
TWO GROUPS MADE A BATTERY FROM LEMONS, AND THE OTHER TWO GROUPS MADE A WINDMILL.FROM A QUESTIONNAIRE ABOUT THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF THE EXPERIENCE DURING THE WORKSHOPS, THESE ARE THE RESULTS :
