My Bestfriend Brett Valentine 5th Hr. Sept. 30th Who or what do you cherish the most out of anything? I could answer that question without having to think more than a couple of seconds. I'd reply with saying my dog Toby. About 3 years ago my brother and I had to decide what we wanted for Christmas, a Wii or a puppy. So, on December 23rd my Dad,Brother, and I went to a Boston Terrier breeder. When we arrived in the house, immediately the potent smell of dog hit my face. When the door opened tiny dogs greeted us by jumping up on us. All of them were cool, but the only one week old puppy being bolted over by larger dogs caught my eye the most. The 6-inch tall, 5 pound petite dog was the one my family brought home. Immediately our puppy got acclimated to the house, chewing on anything in the house and jumping on furniture. But, my family became tired of our dog "puppy", so my brother and I had a competition to decide what our new family member would be named. I wanted to name him Toby and my brother Austin wanted to name him Champ. Well, to settle the disagreement we picked him up and put him in the middle of us and Austin exclaimed "Come here Champ!" and I yelled "Come here Toby!" he exploded toward me and jumped on me and licked my face. I wiped off my face and realized I had smears of food on my face. So Toby chose me for that reason. My family still named him Toby and in that moment I knew Toby my new puppy, was going to become my best friend. From laying down with me, to trying steal the basketball with his tinyvhead, when I play basketball. My dog Toby and I do just about everything together, when I'm home. Toby is let out of the room he sleeps in at night and he pushes open my door in the morning and springs onto my bed and puts his paws on me as if he's an alarm clock. As I unlock the front door after a long day, I depend on his bright face to sprint toward me urging me to play with him. I depend on Toby on many parts of my life. If I hadn't made the decision to buy a puppy December 23rd, my life would not be as complete as it is now. I could have not obtained the most cherished person in my life.

Who or what do you cherish the most out of anything?
