As part of the Senior Leadership Team at Consumers Credit Union, I made significant contributions to the company’s growth. During that time, CCU grew from an asset size of $300M to over $930M with branches increasing from five to nine and ranked #21 of Best Performing Credit Unions 2015. I served as a transformative operations, process and project leader bridging the gap between business strategy, enterprise operations and customer satisfaction to drive profitability and achieve results. As such, I was directly involved in setting our strategy, changing the internal culture, and driving performance to align operational results with strategic goals. This alignment, combined with the improved program implementation and projects I led, directly resulted in reduced costs and increased sales, while enhancing customer service. This is illustrated by CCU’s more than tripled sales results and overall improved customer satisfaction survey results during my time in this position. (2004 – 2011) In 2011, the financial crisis and increased regulatory requirements, combined with our aggressive five year business plan, drove the rate of change throughout the organization and made improved resource management and cross functional communication paramount to the success of the organization. Heading up this new department I used my strong knowledge of operations across all functional areas of the organization, to strategize and prioritize resources as we worked our way through the crisis. As a result of a combination of cost cutting, contract negotiations, process refinement and staff realignment, we navigated through the crisis with no staff reduction or layoffs. This improved efficiency added scalability, positioning us for growth at the start of the market up-turn. As a result, CCU achieved double digit loan and membership growth in 2015. I’ve relocated to Wisconsin and am actively seeking an opportunity to be part of an organization, where I can again make a meaningful contribution. Each business has its own story and strategy for making a positive impact in the lives of their customers through service and growth.
