" ( Sahih al - Bukhari 3100- Book 57, Hadith 9 ) . 5. Shia believe thatAishaandHafsaareenemiesto Allah, tohis messenger ( PBUH ) and to the people of the house of the Messengerof Allah. They narrated on the authority of Mohammad ibn Aslam as he said, " I heard Abu Jaafar say that Al Hassan said to Al Hussein : ' my brother , I ask you to promise me that if I die, prepare me to be buried, then take me to the prophet ' s burial . Afterwards, take me to my mother ' s burial ( Fatimah ) , then take me back to be buried in Al Baqi ( The cemetery where a good many of the companions of the prophet are buried. It is in the southeast side of Madinah ) . And know that I am going to be encountered by Alhumiraa ( Aisha ) . For , people know her deeds and her animosity against Allah, his Messenger and against us Ahlul bayt ( People of the House of the Messenger ) . "' Usui al -kafi ( book ) -first part- chapter of reference to Al - Hussein bin Ali . Qur ' an proves Aisha ' s innocence. * Allah threatens with punishmentfor her sake : Allah says : " And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they , in the sight of Allah, who are the liars ( 13 ) . And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter , you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment (14 ) . When you received it with your tongues and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allah, tremendous ( 15 ) . " ( Surah An-Nur: 13, 14, 15 ) . * Allah attests her innocence from Impurity: Allah says : " Those [good people] are declared innocent of what the slanderers say . For them is forgiveness and noble provision. " ( Surah An-Nur : 26 ) . The verse indicates that she is from the companions of paradise as the majority of Tafsir scholars explains that the " noble provision " in the verse means paradise. * The messenger of Allah also said: " Aisha, there is glad tidings for you. Verily , Allah has vindicated your honor , " ( sahih Al Bukhari Book 4141, Muslim Book 2770 ) . approached me and said, " Take Hafsa back because she always fasts and performs Salah ( prayer ) at night and she will be your wife in paradise " . ( Narrated by: Al -Tabarani ) . 4. Shias believe that Aisha and Hafsa - mothers of the believers- were spies for their fathers in the prophet ' s house - Peace be upon him- : As mentioned in the margin of Sulaym ibn Qays ' s book on page: 154 " Aisha and Hafsa were eyes for their fathers in every event in the prophet ' s house ( Peace be upon him ) . And on the authority of Sulaym, he said: " I heard Ali - May Allah bless him- saying : While leaning the messenger of Allah to my chest as his head was close to my ear , the two women ( i. e . Aisha and Hafsa ) were listening attentively so they can hear his words. Then, the messenger of Allah said: 0 Allah, block theirears " . * Muslims believe that the mothers of believers are among the doers of good: Virtues of the mothers of the believers from the Qur ' an : 1- They deserve great reward: Allah- The Almighty- says: " But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward. " ( Surah Alahzab : 29 ) . This verse indicates that they are going to be graced a great reward. Which will be in both; worldly life and the hereafter. As they are going to be with the prophet in paradise which is a great grace and reward and it is known that high status indicates a high reward. 2- They a re favored over all women : Allah said: " 0 wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. " ( Surah Alahzab :32 ) . Ibn Abbas says explaining this verse : " you are not like the rest of women you have a unique position and you will receive a higher reward " . In addition, Allah approved to his prophet to die on Aisha ' s chest ; and to be buried in her house next to her bed. On the authority of Aisha, she said, " During his sickness, Allah ' s Messenger ( PBUH ) was asking repeatedly, " Where am I today? Where will I be tomorrow? " And I was waiting for the day of my turn ( impatiently ) . Then, when my turn came, Allah took his soul away ( in my lap ) between my chest and arms and he was buried in my house. " ( Sahih al -Bukhari 1389- Book 23, Hadith 142 ) . Moreover , " Aisha said, " The Prophet ( PBUH ) died in my house on the day of my turn while he was leaning on my chest closer to my neck, and Allah made my saliva mix with his Saliva. " After evincing Shia beliefs, one wonders from those calling for convergence with Shia, as if there are no differences between the beliefs of Muslims and Shia. www. islamic-invitation.com

A comparison between the Shia's and Muslim's beliefsconcerning the wives of the Prophet Muhammad peace andblessingsofAllahbe uponhim(PBUH).In this pamphlet wetackle the belief of the Shias and Muslimsconcerning the Prophet'swives,Aisha and Hafsa (mayAllahbepleased with them).Allah hasrevealed in the Noble Qur'an fortheir superiority which will be recited till the Day ofResurrection. Moreover, there are many hadiths (Prophet'ssayings) for their preference. However, Shias believe that theProphet's wives were apostate and that theyplot forthekillingof the Prophet, peace be upon him, by poison and otherabominations(shamefuldeeds). Here are some of these beliefs and its refutations from Qur'anandSunnah:1.TheShia'sbeliefin theProphet's wives:Shias believe that Aisha and Hafsa, the Prophet's wives (mayAllah be pleased with them), were apostate as Shias don'texclude them from those who disbelieve after the death of theProphet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), this isaccording to their false belief. The proof is in the following:It's narrated on the authority of Abi Jaafeer who said:" Allpeople became apostates after the Prophet's death except forthree. When asked who they were, he replied: Al- Miqdad IbnAL-Aswad, Abu DharAlGhafari, and Salman Al-Farsi." [RijalAl-Kashship.6,Al-Kafi 8/245.].TheMuslim'sbeliefof theProphet's wives:Allah (Exalted be He) mentioned the wives of the Prophet bythe word " wives" throughout the Qur'an " 0 Prophet, say toyourwives" [33:28]mentioning them by the word "wives" is not in vain ,and ofcourse could not be in vain, but it is an indication for theirpreference, because husband and wife are two things similarand equaltoeachother. Thus, there is a strong proof for the superiority of the wives ofthe Prophet as Allah put them in a position suitable for theprophet(Peace be uponhim).Thisrefers to their honesty, pietyand chastity. On the other hand, we can notice that the Qur'an talked aboutthe disbelievers' wives of the Prophets by using the word"woman”.Allah says " Allahpresentsan example of those whodisbelieved: the woman of Noah and the woman of Lot"[66:10], but the Prophet Muhammad's wives were mentionedas "wives".What proves the virtuesof Aisha (peace and blessingsbe uponher) that Allah has revealed 18 verses for her status in theQur'an, all these verses glorify the status of the Prophet

(peace be uponhim). It's an honor and acquittalfor Aisha and adispraise and curse for those who accuse chaste women.Without any doubt, it's an honoring from Allah.Consequently, there isanother virtue which is that thebelief and thedisbeliefbecomerelatedtoherpraising and dispraising.2. Shia's slander against Aisha and Hafsa (May Allah bepleasedwithbothof them):They curse the Prophet's wives Aisha and Hafsa: the prayer ofSanama Quraish (the idols of Quraish) which is presented bythe Shia's grand Imam and the leader of their revolution, AlKhomeini. In their prayer, they curse Aisha and Hafsa -peaceand blessingsbeuponthem-:" 0 Allah! Curse the two idols of Quraish and their twomagicians, their two-rebellious people, their two accusersandtheir two daughters." (Mansour Hussein / Tohfa tul awamMaqboolp.423-424).Qur'anicStanceonAisha andHafsa:Allah-The Almighty- says:"Indeed, those who [falsely] accusechaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this worldand the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment".(SurahAn-Nur:23).Therefore,from the virtuesof Aisha is that she is a believer anda chaste woman according to whatismentioned in theQur'anAli ibn AbiTaleb and Amaar ibn Yasser's stances against thosewhoinsult Aisha:Amr ibn Ghalib narrated that a man spoke negatively of Aishabefore Ammar bin Yasser' so he said : " Be gone as onedespicable and rejected! Do you insult the beloved of theMessenger -Peace be uponHim-?"HadithSahih Hassan(Authenticand FineHadith).Al Tabari (5/544), Aisha said " I swear what was between meand Ali in the past was just like that between a woman and herfathers in law and I consider him one of the good people, Alisaid " 0 people! Aisha is truthful, I swear, and loyal. There wasnothing between me and her except that. Verily she is the wifeof your prophet -Peace be upon Him- in this world and thehereafter".Also from her virtues (peace and blessings be upon her), thatshe was the dearest wife to the Prophet (peace be upon Him)and he stated his love for her when he was asked whom themost beloved to Him. Amr ibn Al-As reported in Sahih Al-Bukhri: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, hadsent me on an expedition with the army of Dhat-as-Salasil. Icame and said to him, "who is the most beloved person toyou?” The Prophet said, "Aisha.” I said, "and among men.” TheProphet said,"Her father.”

3. Shia wrongly claim that Aisha and Hafsa- May Allah bepleased with both of them - killed the Prophet -peace be uponhim-:They believe that Aisha and Hafsa killed the Prophet by poisonto acquit the Jews: Abi Abdullah narrated that" May Allahcurse Aisha and Hafsa and their fathers.0Allah!Tillwhentheyare going to kill the most pious people! And till when they willescape from your severe torment and punishment- Theypoisoned the Messenger (Hayat Al Qoloub (Hearts' Life) by Almajlisi2/700-Tehran).Muslim'sdogma concerningTheMothersof thebelievers:Virtues of Aisha -mother of the believers- from the HolyQur'an1- Qur'an proves that she is a good woman, Allah -TheAlmighty- says:" Evil words are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] toevil words. And good words are for good men, and good menare [an object] of good words. Those [good people] aredeclared innocent of what the slanderers say. For them isforgivenessandnoble provision." (SurahAn-Nur:26).Since the prophet is the best of all people, Aisha is to beconsidered one of thebest of women.Ibn Abbas said to Aisha -May Allahbe pleased withher -:"Allahmade you one of the good women" and then he said: "goodwomenforgoodmen".Al-Razi said:" and no one is better and purer than themessenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so hiswiveswouldonlybe good women.2- The divine testimony for her as a woman of high degree offaithand chastity:Allah says: "Why, when you heard it, did not the believing menand believing women think good of one another and say, "Thisisanobviousfalsehood"?(Surah An-Nur:12).There is a proof in this verse which clarifies her true faith andchastity. Otherwise, the rhetoric would not have been thatstrong in this verse. Furthermore, the verse indicates that abeliever should defend Aisha and praise her, and any slanderagainst her honor, isconsidered a flaw inhis/herfaith.* Virtuesof Aisha-motherofthebelievers-fromSunnah:The prophet tells her that she is one of the companions ofparadise:Al Hakim narrated in his attribution to Aisha (may Allah bepleased with her) that she said: "I said:0 messenger of Allahwho is going to be among your wives in paradise? He said:youareoneofthem."*Virtuesof Hafsa-motherof thebelievers-from Sunnah:The messenger of Allah pronounced, "Certainly, Gabriel
