DEMOLITION NOTES:

1. REMOVE ALL WALLS, DOORS, FRAMES, CEILINGS, LIGHT FIXTURES,PLUMBING FIXTURES, HVACDIFFUSERS AND REGISTERS, ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND WIRING IN AREAS NOTED AND AS REQUIREDFOR INSTALLATION OF NEW WORK. REMOVE ALL EXISTING FLOORING FROM ROOMS SCHEDULEDTO RECEIVE NEW FLOORING.

2. ALL DOORS, FRAMES AND HARDWARE REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION SHALL BE SALVAGED. ATCONTRACTORS OPTION, THESE DOORS AND HARDWARE MAY BE REUTILIZED IN NEW WORK.CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT TYPE OF HARDWARE, HAND OR DOOR, ETC. MATCH PROPOSEDDOOR CONFIGURATION.

3. LIGHT FIXTURES REMOVED SHALL BE SALVAGED AND REUTILIZED IN THE RENOVATED AREAS. THERESHALL NOT BE A MIXTURE OF NEW AND EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES IN A GIVEN ROOM OR AREA. REUTILIZEDFIXTURES ARE TO BE RELAMPED PRIOR TO SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.

4. DEMOLITION WORK SHALL BE COORDINATED CLOSELY WITH THE EXISTING OCCUPANTS OF THEBUILDING. ALL NEW WORK FOR READING-BERKS PHYSICAL THERAPY SHALL BE COMPLETED PRIOR TOTHE START OF ANY DEMOLITION OF THEIR SUITE. A TEMPORARY ENTRANCE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED TOTHIS TENANT SPACE TO ALLOW ACCESS TO BE CONTINUOUS THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THENEW AREAS.

5. DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ADDITION, PERFORM ONLY THE DEMOLITION REQUIREDTO ALLOW STRUCTURAL CONNECTIONS TO THE EXISTING BUILDING AND AS REQUIRED TO ALLOW THEROOF AND EXTERIOR WALLS TO BE COMPLETED.

6. REMOVE PLUMBING FIXTURES FROM EXISTING TOILET ROOM AND SALVAGE FOR REUSE. REINSTALLTHESE FIXTURES IN ONE OF THE TWO TOILET ROOMS IN THE NEW AREAS FOR BERKS FOOT AND ANKLESURGICAL ASSOC.

7. REMOVE EXISTING HVAC DIFFUSERS AND DUCTWORK AS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK. SALVAGE ALLDIFFUSERS AND REGISTERS FOR REUSE IN NEW SPACES OF BERKS FOOT AND ANKLE SURGICAL ASSOC.

PROJECT SCOPE

The Work of this project, entitled Addition and Renovations at Cedar Run Professional OfficeBuilding, consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and all other necessary itemsrequired to complete the work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications.

The Contractor shall carefully study and compare all contract documents with each otherand with any other information provided by the Owner. The Contractor shall report all errors,inconsistencies or omissions to the Owner prior to the submission of the bid / proposal.The Contractor is responsible to provide all items of the Work normally required to completethe project as designed and as required by the applicable local codes, including theTownship's adoption of the Uniform Construction Code of the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania.

The General Contractor is responsible for coordinating the work of all trades.

The Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring the appropriate permits from the Township ofCumru, Berks County, PA. Four sets of the bidding drawings will be made available for use bythe Contractor for the permitting process. The Contractor shall provide four sets of Mechanical,Plumbing and Electrical Drawings to the Architect for compilation with the sets for permitsubmission. Drawing No 3083-001-D-E1.0 will be made available to the Electrical subcontractorfor use in preparation of the permit submission drawings.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

The Contractor's proposal shall include the costs for all of the work for this project,including the mechanical and electrical trades. Bids shall be submitted to theOffices of Great Valley Consultants by the date and time listed in the Notice toBidders. The Drawings and Specifications provided are scope documents for use by theBidders.

DIVISION 1 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

The form for the Agreement for the Work of this project shall be AIA Document A105-2007,Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for a Residential or SmallCommercial Project.

Contractor's Representative:The Contractor shall appoint a project manager who will be responsible for overseeing theconstruction. All correspondence / directives between the Contractor and the Owner are tobe through the designated Project Manager.

Owner's Construction Representative:The Owner shall designate a Construction Representative who will be responsible foroverseeing the construction. All correspondence / directives between the Contractor andthe Owner are to be through the designated Construction Representative. The ConstructionRepresentative will be responsible for reviewing and certifying the Contractor's Applicationfor Payments and shall be responsible for documenting any changes to the Contract.

Changes to the Contract:All changes to the Contract shall be documented through a change order executed by boththe Contractor and the Owner. Payment for any changes shall not be provided until thechange is documented and both the Contractor and Owner have executed the change order.

Building Code Compliance:The additions to and renovations of the building are to be built in compliance with the allrequirements of the Uniform Construction Code as adopted by the Township of Cumru.

Inspections:The Contractor is responsible for scheduling the inspections required by the local buildingcodes. The costs for any re-inspections shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.

Standards:All references to standard trade specifications such as ASTM, Federal Specifications andother standards, publications and specifications shall be the issues of these documents ineffect at the time of the Bid and shall be incorporated into these Contract Documents bythese references.

Substitutions:The various products and materials mentioned in the Contract Documents are given toestablish a standard of quality and cost, and it is not the intent of the Owner to limit theContractor to that specific product unless specifically noted in the documents that thereare to be no substitutions for that particular material or product. Where proprietary namesare used, whether or not followed by the words "or equal", the Contractor may submit otherequal manufacturers or products to the Owner for approval unless specifically noted otherwise.

The Contractor shall receive approval for all substitutions prior to their incorporation intothe project work, and this approval is to be acquired during the bidding period. Substitutionsrequested by the Contractor after the submission of the bid / proposal may be consideredat the discretion of the Owner. If the substitution is approved by the Owner, there shall beno increase in the Contract Sum for the incorporation of this requested material or product.

Submittals:The Contractor shall submit to the Architect all shop drawings, product data, finish samples,and similar submittals for review and processing.

Shop Drawings are required for the following items:Structural steel, footings / foundations, roof trusses, doors, windows, door hardware,HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, and fire alarm systems.

Product data shall be submitted for the following items:Steel studs, gypsum board and sheathing, roofing, all finish materials such as carpeting,vinyl base, painting and ceiling materials.

Color charts shall be submitted for the following items:Carpeting, VCT, vinyl base, paint, wood doors, E.I.F.S., roof shingles, and split-facedconcrete block

Guarantee:The Contractor shall guarantee, in writing, all materials and workmanship in connection withthis project's Work for the period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of theWork by the Owner. Neither the final acceptance certificate nor payment for any provisionof the contract documents shall relieve the Contractor of their responsibility to correct orreplace any faulty materials or workmanship discovered and noted to the Contractor inwriting within the guarantee period.

Stipulation Against Liens:Prior to the execution of the Contract, the Contractor shall provide to the Owner aStipulation Against Liens properly executed and filed with the Office of the Prothonotaryof the County of Berks.

Document Ownership:All drawings, specifications and other documents prepared for this project, and all copiesthereof, shall remain the property of the Architect. Utilization of these documents for anyother use other than the work of this project is strictly prohibited. All rights to thesedocuments are reserved by the Architect.

Temporary Utilities:The Owner's electric and water may be utilized by the contractor for the performance ofthe Work of this project, except that the Contractor is responsible to supply the sourcefor any temporary electric for welding purposes. The misuse or waste of the Owner'sutilities is not permitted, and the Contractor may be charged for any such misuse.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the provision, installation, and removal all temporarypartitions, dropcloths, tarps, etc. required to protect the existing occupied areas from theareas of the project Work. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide a system toexhaust the construction dust to the exterior of the building during dust-making activitiesand clean-up activities.

DIVISION 11 - EQUIPMENT

DIVISION 12 - FURNISHINGS

DIVISION 13 - SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION

Not Applicable.

DIVISION 14 - CONVEYING SYSTEMS

Not Applicable.

DIVISION 15 - MECHANICAL

General Plumbing Requirements:All plumbing systems and materials shall be provided and installed in accordance with thelocal building and plumbing codes. Sanitary piping to be Sched. 40 PVCwith fittingsappropriate for drainage and vent systems. Domestic water piping to be Type L coppertubing.

New Plumbing Fixtures:New plumbing fixtures to be equal to the following:

Water Closets Kohler #K-3505 "Wellworth"; verify hand for flush trip lever,with closed front seat with lid.

Lavatories Kohler #K-1728 "Chesapeake, with strainer, trap andK-7401-SA faucet.

Sink at Nurses Station Elkay PSLVR1917 "Pacemaker" stainless steel sink withstrainer, trap and #LK406AT08T4 faucet.

Provide insulation on both cold and hot domestic water piping. Install insulation inaccordance with manufacturer's instructions.

General HVAC Requirements:All HVAC systems shall be provided and installed in accordance with the local building andmechanical codes.

Metal Ductwork:Provide metal ductwork for the extension of the ductwork systems for the relocation of allHVAC diffusers and/or grilles as noted or required. Install ductwork in accordance withcode requirements. Seal all joints.

Reutilization of existing flexible ductwork is acceptable in areas where this type of ductworkis used and if the length of the existing flexible ductwork is sufficient for the new diffuserlocation. Provide new flexible ductwork to match existing materials where required.

Ductwork supplying heated or cooled air shall be insulated with fiberglass wrap insulationwith a minimum value of R-8. All joints are to be taped and sealed.

HVAC Units:Provide new HVAC units to be compatible and match the type of units installed in theexisting building. Wiring to match existing and shall comply with the requirements of theNational Electric Code.

HVAC Controls:In Berks Foot and Ankle Suite, provide themostatic controls for each office area, for thebusiness office area and for the new X-ray room. Thermostats are also to be providedfor Exam Rooms 018 / 019, 020 / 021 and 030 / 031. The HVAC system for the Storagerooms shall be tied with the general space thermostat.

In Reading - Berks Physical Therapy, provide separate thermostats for 002 / 003, 004,005 / 006, 007, 008 / 009 / 010 / 011, 012 / 013 and 014 / 015.

DIVISION 16 - ELECTRICAL

General Electrical Requirements:All electrical systems shall be provided and installed in accordance with the local buildingand electrical codes.

All wiring shall be copper conductors, either stranded or solid as required by the NationalElectric Code. Aluminum conductors are not acceptable.

The Owner's electric may be utilized for temporary lighting and power, provided that thiselectric is not wasted. The Contractor shall provide all temporary wiring, devices orfixtures required for the performance of the Work by all trades. The Contractor shall alsobe responsible for the removal of these temporary items when required for the completionof the Work.

Power Systems:Provide power outlets where indicated, or where not indicated, provide outlets inaccordance with the National Electric Code.

All wiring devices (outlets, etc.) and plates shall match existing.

All wiring and cables shall comply with the requirements of the local codes and the NationalElectric Code.

Provide wiring of emergency switches and devices associated with fire suppression systemfor Vault 'B' (126.1). Confirm wiring diagram and requirements for devices with systemmanufacturer.

Cutting and Patching:Inspect all existing conditions prior to any cutting operations. Provide all required protection,including, but not limited to, shoring, bracing, and supports to maintain the structural integrityof the existing work to remain.

Patch and / or repair all areas or surfaces disturbed by the Work with new finishes ormaterials to match the adjacent existing materials or finish.

Where existing stud wall openings are being closed, or other patching is required greaterthan one (1) square foot in area, enlarge area as required so that edges of new gypsumwallboard are over new or existing framing members.

Hidden Conditions:The Contractor shall notify the Architect and Owner immediately of any hidden or latentconditions in the project area materially differing from the scope of the work indicated inthe contract documents before they are disturbed. The Owner's representative will thenpromptly investigate the conditions, and if the existing conditions are found to be materiallydifferent from the scope of the work shown or noted in the construction documents a changewill be processed in the construction documents. The Contractor will review these changesand provide a cost breakdown for any increase or decrease in the contract sum. A changeorder to incorporate the change in the construction documents will be processed.

Weather Conditions:The Contractor shall protect the Work of this project and shall protect the existing occupiedportions of the building from damage from the weather resulting from work that the Contractorperformed as part of this project. Any materials, equipment, furnishings, or other parts ofthe building which are damaged by weather as a result of the Contractor's, or theirSubcontractor's, failure to protect the building or materials from the weather shall bereplaced by the Contractor at the Contractor's expense.

Responsibility of the Contractor:If, through acts of neglect or negligence on the part of the Contractor or theirSubcontractor(s), another contractor or subcontractor suffers loss or damage,the Contractor agrees to settle with the damaged party by agreement or arbitrationif the damaged party approves such a settlement agreement. If the damaged partydoes not agree to settle and files any claim against the Owner, the Owner shall notifythe Contractor, and the Contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner againstany such claim.

Applications for Payment:The Contractor shall submit periodic applications for payment to the Architect's ConstructionRepresentative by the end of the last day of the month. The Architect's ConstructionRepresentative shall review these applications and provide any comments or correctionsto the Contractor within 10 calendar days. The Contractor shall provide two certifiedcopies of the Application for Payment within five calendar days of receipt of any comments.The Architect's Construction Representative shall provide a Certificate of Payment to theOwner within 5 calendar days. The Owner shall provide payment to the Contractor withseven calendar days of approval of the Certificate of Payment by the Architect.

Final Cleaning:The Contractor, upon completion of the Work, shall present the project to the Owner in acleaned state and ready for occupancy. All surfaces shall be wiped clean, all carpetedareas shall be vacuumed, and all resilient flooring areas shall be swept and mopped clean.All glass surfaces shall be cleaned and all labels, tags, etc. shall be removed.

DIVISION 2 - DEMOLITION

Demolition:The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of these specifications and with allapplicable requirements of the local, state and federal regulations.

The Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all materials noted to be removedexcept as other wise noted for items or materials to be salvaged and/or reused. Areas fordumpsters to be located and areas for storage of the salvaged materials shall becoordinated with the Owner. The Contractor shall provide protection of the salvagedmaterials during the storage period.

Existing exit paths for the building occupants must be maintained throughout the durationof the project work. Access for the fire department apparatus must be maintained at alltimes.

The Contractor shall provide dust partitions and barriers as required to prevent constructiondust and debris from migrating into the occupied areas of the project site.

DIVISION 2 - SITE

Excavation:Provide all excavation for the installation of underslab plumbing, HVAC or electrical work.Provide all excavation for new footings and foundations. All excavation is unclassified.

DIVISION 3 - CONCRETE

General Concrete, Footings and Foundations:Unless noted otherwise, all concrete shall be a minimum of 3,500 psi concrete after the28 day break. Contractor shall provide concrete tests for the concrete placed at the site.

Slabs:The concrete slab shall be a minimum of 4" thick with 6x6, W1.6xW1.6 welded wire fabricover a minimum of 6"thick crushed stone base. Crushed stone base to be equal toPennDOT 2B crushed stone.

DIVISION 4 - MASONRY

General:All mortar joints shall be struck and tooled. All walls shall have horizontal reinforcing at16" maximum vertical spacing equal to "Dur-O-Wal" DA3100 reinforcing.

Interior walls:Interior walls shall be concrete block of the noted thickness where indicated. Block shallbe lightweight, hollow, load-bearing concrete blocks complying with ASTM C90, Grade N.Mortar shall be a Portland Cement mortar complying with ASTM C270, Type S.

DIVISION 5 - METALS

Structural Steel:Existing building has steel columns along the north and south walls with steel beams to carrythe roof trusses. The structural engineer for the original building was Multani Associates ofWyomissing, PA. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide structural steel and roof designas part of their proposal. This work shall also include provision of structural design and drawingsfor the footings and foundations and the provision of the requirements for the wood roof truss designby the wood truss manufacturer.

DIVISION 6 - WOOD / PLASTIC

Rough Framing:All wood framing shall be structural grade lumber. Provide all wood blocking and fire blockingas required. All wood in contact with masonry or concrete shall be pressure-treated lumber.

Wood Trusses:Provide wood roof trusses in same slope and profile as existing roof trusses. Submit shopdrawings of trusses with drawings for building permit. Shop drawings to be sealed by astructural engineer registered in Pennsylvania.

Roof Sheathing:Provide 3 4" exterior grade plywood roof sheathing.

Finish Carpentry:Provide miscellaneous wood trim and other finish carpentry items as noted on the drawings.All wood trim noted on the Drawings shall be paint-grade pine unless specifically noted otherwise.

New cabinets and casework shall be provided by the Owner under a separate contract. TheContractor shall be responsible for all connections to the plumbing and electrical fixtures providedwith the cabinets / casework.

DIVISION 7 - THERMAL & MOISTURE PROTECTION

Sound Insulation:Provide unfaced fiberglass batt insulation for all new metal stud partitions. Insulation shall complywith ASTM C665, Type I, and, when installed in the metal stud / gypsum board partitions, thewall systems shall have a STC rating of 50. Insulation to be installed between all metalstuds. Thickness of insulation shall be as indicated on the Drawings.

Thermal Insulation:Provide fiberglass batt insulation for roof areas - minimum R Value - R-38.

Provide extruded polystyrene rigid insulation boards for masonry areas of exterior walls -minimum R Value - R-7.5.

Provide fiberglass batt insulation for exterior stud walls - minimum R Value - R-19.

Roofing:Provide new asphalt shingle roofing over 30 lb. felt underlayment. Shingles to matchexisting roof in profile and configuration. Provide 30 year shingle from Elk or approvedequal. Provide Grace "Ice & Water Shield" for a distance of 4' minimum up roof slopefrom edge.

E.I.F.S.:Provide exterior insulation and finish system equal to Dryvit Standard DS205 finish andinsulation system with a "Sandpebble Fine" finish, or equal product from Sto Corp. orBASF Construction Chemicals. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's installationinstructions. Provide "DensGlass Gold" sheathing at exterior side of new wall areas.

Provide thicknesses and profiles to match existing building. Colors of E.I.F.S. to matchexisting building.

Siding:Provide double 4" clapboard vinyl siding from Revere Building Products or equal fromAlcoa or Genflex. Siding to be installed on exterior of wall on South Elevation as indicatedon the Drawings. Provide all trim and other accessories as required for complete coverage.Install siding in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Color as selected by Ownerfrom manufacturer's standard color line.

Sealants:Provide sealant around all openings in walls, at all construction joints in gypsum boardpartitions, and at all construction joints in masonry construction. Sealant is to beprovided at the joints between dissimilar materials. Sealant is to be "AC-20 +Silicone"by Pecora or approved equal.

Provide acoustic sealant at joints between all new walls and the existing floor slab orexisting walls. Sealant shall be "AIS 919 Acoustical and Insulation Latex Sealant"by Pecora or approved equal.

Provide fire-rated sealants around penetrations through fire-rated partitions. Sealantsare to be supplied by Hilti, Inc. or equal. Provide rated sealant systems which have anequal rating to the rating of the partition.

DIVISION 8 - DOORS AND WINDOWS

Hollow Metal Frames:Interior door frames shall be cold-rolled steel. Frames shall be a minimum of 16 gaugesteel and shall be reinforced at all locations where door hardware is to be installed.Provide mortises for all hinges, closers, etc. Provide doors and frames from Cec, Curies orRepublic.

Wood Doors:New wood doors shall be 7-ply, solid-core, red oak veneer. Provide manufacturer'sstandard stained / polyurethane finish as selected by Owner. Provide doors from Eggers,Weyerhauser, or Mohawk.

Aluminum Doors and Frames:The interior vestibule doors and frames at the new entrance shall be equal to theTri-fab 451 doors and frames from Kawneer. Doors to be "narrow style" doors. Doorsand frames are to have "Clear" anodized finish.

The glass lights in the aluminum doors shall be ¼" tempered glass.

Door Hardware:New door hardware shall be as noted on the Drawings. Substitutions for listed hardwaremanufacturers must receive prior approval by the Architect.

Windows:Provide aluminum windows to match existing windows in size, profile and finish. Existingwindows are from Kawneer.

DIVISION 9 - FINISHES

Acoustic Tile Ceilings:Provide 2'x4' lay-in acoustic tile ceilings in all areas except where noted. Grid to bemanufacturer's heavy-duty, 15/16" wide system. Ceiling panels are to match existingpanels and shall be equal to Armstrong "Fine-Fissured, Second Look" #1761.

Metal Stud Framing:Interior partitions shall be galvanized steel studs, minimum 3-5/8" wide at 16" on center.Gauge of stud to be minimum 25 gauge and shall be in accordance with manufacturer'srequirements for height of wall. Provide top and bottom tracks for all partitions inaccordance with the stud manufacturer's requirements. Bracing and framing of openingsto be as required by manufacturer's recommendations and building codes.

Exterior wall framing to be galvanized steel studs in dimensions noted on Drawings. Gauge tobe provided by Structural Engineer employed by Contractor for structural steel frame design.

Gypsum Board Partitions:Provide gypsum board from USG, National Gypsum or equal. Provide 1/2" thick gypsumboard in all areas except where 5 8" thick Type X ggypsum board is required for fire ratedpartitions. Provide all edge accessories and finish all joints as required and in accordancewith the manufacturer's instructions.

Flooring:

Vinyl Composition Tile: Provide 12"x12" VCT flooring equal to Armstrong "StandardExcellon". Color as selected by Owner from manufacturer's standard colors.

Carpeting:Provide carpeting from Lees Carpets, Series "Deauville" or "Seventh Avenue" with Leesstandard broadloom warranties. Color as selected by Owner from full color lineavailable in the noted series.

Vinyl Cove Base: Provide 1/8" gauge, 4" high vinyl cove base in all areas equal to Armstrong.Color as selected by the Owner from manufacturer's standard colors.

Paint:Provide at least one coat of block filler on all exposed concrete block masonry walls inaccordance with paint manufacturer's specifications. Provide at least one coat of primer onall new gypsum board partitions in accordance with paint manufacturer's specifications.Provide a minimum of two finish coats of flat latex paint on all wall areas equal to Glidden "SpredSatin" in all areas calling for painted walls.

For all painting work, the Owner's representative shall review the finished product and shall make adetermination if another finish coat is required to provide the necessary coverage. The paintingsubcontractor shall be responsible for coordination of the touch-up painting work with the other trades.The Owner's representative shall have the final determination regarding the requirements for touch-upor repainting. All touch-up or repainting work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and shall notbe an additional cost to the Owner.

DIVISION 10 - SPECIALTIES

Toilet Accessories:Provide mirrors, grab bars and toilet paper holder from Bobrick in Toilet 011, 022 and 028in accordance with the following schedule:

Rear grab bar B-6806.99x36Horz. Side Grab Bar B-6806.99x42Vert Side Grab Bar B-6806.99x18Toilet Tissue Dispenser B-685Mirrors B-165 1836

Other toilet accessories to be provided by Owner.

Signs:Provide ADA signage for all exit doors to the exterior and for the toilet rooms as required bythe IBC. Signs to be from Seton of Branford, CT or equal per the following schedule:

Lighting Systems:Install new lighting fixtures as indicated on the Drawings and provide new wiring and circuits.Extend or rewire existing lighting power circuits and provide new switching devices asrequired by the local codes and the National Electric Code. New devices and plates shallmatch existing.

Emergency Lighting / Exit Sign Systems:Contractor shall provide new emergency lighting fixtures for Corridor areas as shown onplans. These fixtures shall match the existing emergency lighting fixtures. Provide powerwiring as required. Extend or rewire existing power circuit as required and in accordance with theNational Electric Code.

Provide new emergency exit signs where indicated on the Drawings. New signs shall matchexisting exit signs. Provide wiring as required for new signs in accordance with theNational Electric Code.

Data / Communications Systems:Extend existing telephone system and provide telephone outlets the areas where indicatedon the Drawings. Wiring to match existing and shall be extended from the existing telephonesystem to each of the indicated outlets. Provide terminations at both ends of the cables.

Provide data outlets in the areas where indicated on the Drawings. Cable shall be Cat. 5 datacable (equal to Type IC 4 PR 24 AWG Type CMR (UL) or PCC-FT4 C (UL)). Provideterminations at both ends of the cable. Terminations shall match existing data system.

Fire Alarm System:Provide new smoke detectors where indicated on the Drawings. Smoke detectors shallmatch existing system devices. Provide relocation of existing smoke detectors whereindicated on the Drawings. Provide new wiring for the new or relocated fire alarm systemdevices as required and in accordance with the National Electric Code.

DEMOLITION NOTES:

1. REMOVE ALL WALLS, DOORS, FRAMES, CEILINGS, LIGHT FIXTURES,PLUMBING FIXTURES, HVACDIFFUSERS AND REGISTERS, ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND WIRING IN AREAS NOTED AND AS REQUIREDFOR INSTALLATION OF NEW WORK. REMOVE ALL EXISTING FLOORING FROM ROOMS SCHEDULEDTO RECEIVE NEW FLOORING.

2. ALL DOORS, FRAMES AND HARDWARE REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION SHALL BE SALVAGED. ATCONTRACTORS OPTION, THESE DOORS AND HARDWARE MAY BE REUTILIZED IN NEW WORK.CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT TYPE OF HARDWARE, HAND OR DOOR, ETC. MATCH PROPOSEDDOOR CONFIGURATION.

3. LIGHT FIXTURES REMOVED SHALL BE SALVAGED AND REUTILIZED IN THE RENOVATED AREAS. THERESHALL NOT BE A MIXTURE OF NEW AND EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES IN A GIVEN ROOM OR AREA. REUTILIZEDFIXTURES ARE TO BE RELAMPED PRIOR TO SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.

4. DEMOLITION WORK SHALL BE COORDINATED CLOSELY WITH THE EXISTING OCCUPANTS OF THEBUILDING. ALL NEW WORK FOR READING-BERKS PHYSICAL THERAPY SHALL BE COMPLETED PRIOR TOTHE START OF ANY DEMOLITION OF THEIR SUITE. A TEMPORARY ENTRANCE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED TOTHIS TENANT SPACE TO ALLOW ACCESS TO BE CONTINUOUS THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THENEW AREAS.

5. DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ADDITION, PERFORM ONLY THE DEMOLITION REQUIREDTO ALLOW STRUCTURAL CONNECTIONS TO THE EXISTING BUILDING AND AS REQUIRED TO ALLOW THEROOF AND EXTERIOR WALLS TO BE COMPLETED.

6. REMOVE PLUMBING FIXTURES FROM EXISTING TOILET ROOM AND SALVAGE FOR REUSE. REINSTALLTHESE FIXTURES IN ONE OF THE TWO TOILET ROOMS IN THE NEW AREAS FOR BERKS FOOT AND ANKLESURGICAL ASSOC.

7. REMOVE EXISTING HVAC DIFFUSERS AND DUCTWORK AS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK. SALVAGE ALLDIFFUSERS AND REGISTERS FOR REUSE IN NEW SPACES OF BERKS FOOT AND ANKLE SURGICAL ASSOC.

PROJECT SCOPE

The Work of this project, entitled Addition and Renovations at Cedar Run Professional OfficeBuilding, consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and all other necessary itemsrequired to complete the work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications.

The Contractor shall carefully study and compare all contract documents with each otherand with any other information provided by the Owner. The Contractor shall report all errors,inconsistencies or omissions to the Owner prior to the submission of the bid / proposal.The Contractor is responsible to provide all items of the Work normally required to completethe project as designed and as required by the applicable local codes, including theTownship's adoption of the Uniform Construction Code of the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania.

The General Contractor is responsible for coordinating the work of all trades.

The Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring the appropriate permits from the Township ofCumru, Berks County, PA. Four sets of the bidding drawings will be made available for use bythe Contractor for the permitting process. The Contractor shall provide four sets of Mechanical,Plumbing and Electrical Drawings to the Architect for compilation with the sets for permitsubmission. Drawing No 3083-001-D-E1.0 will be made available to the Electrical subcontractorfor use in preparation of the permit submission drawings.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

The Contractor's proposal shall include the costs for all of the work for this project,including the mechanical and electrical trades. Bids shall be submitted to theOffices of Great Valley Consultants by the date and time listed in the Notice toBidders. The Drawings and Specifications provided are scope documents for use by theBidders.

DIVISION 1 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

The form for the Agreement for the Work of this project shall be AIA Document A105-2007,Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for a Residential or SmallCommercial Project.

Contractor's Representative:The Contractor shall appoint a project manager who will be responsible for overseeing theconstruction. All correspondence / directives between the Contractor and the Owner are tobe through the designated Project Manager.

Owner's Construction Representative:The Owner shall designate a Construction Representative who will be responsible foroverseeing the construction. All correspondence / directives between the Contractor andthe Owner are to be through the designated Construction Representative. The ConstructionRepresentative will be responsible for reviewing and certifying the Contractor's Applicationfor Payments and shall be responsible for documenting any changes to the Contract.

Changes to the Contract:All changes to the Contract shall be documented through a change order executed by boththe Contractor and the Owner. Payment for any changes shall not be provided until thechange is documented and both the Contractor and Owner have executed the change order.

Building Code Compliance:The additions to and renovations of the building are to be built in compliance with the allrequirements of the Uniform Construction Code as adopted by the Township of Cumru.

Inspections:The Contractor is responsible for scheduling the inspections required by the local buildingcodes. The costs for any re-inspections shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.

Standards:All references to standard trade specifications such as ASTM, Federal Specifications andother standards, publications and specifications shall be the issues of these documents ineffect at the time of the Bid and shall be incorporated into these Contract Documents bythese references.

Substitutions:The various products and materials mentioned in the Contract Documents are given toestablish a standard of quality and cost, and it is not the intent of the Owner to limit theContractor to that specific product unless specifically noted in the documents that thereare to be no substitutions for that particular material or product. Where proprietary namesare used, whether or not followed by the words "or equal", the Contractor may submit otherequal manufacturers or products to the Owner for approval unless specifically noted otherwise.

The Contractor shall receive approval for all substitutions prior to their incorporation intothe project work, and this approval is to be acquired during the bidding period. Substitutionsrequested by the Contractor after the submission of the bid / proposal may be consideredat the discretion of the Owner. If the substitution is approved by the Owner, there shall beno increase in the Contract Sum for the incorporation of this requested material or product.

Submittals:The Contractor shall submit to the Architect all shop drawings, product data, finish samples,and similar submittals for review and processing.

Shop Drawings are required for the following items:Structural steel, footings / foundations, roof trusses, doors, windows, door hardware,HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, and fire alarm systems.

Product data shall be submitted for the following items:Steel studs, gypsum board and sheathing, roofing, all finish materials such as carpeting,vinyl base, painting and ceiling materials.

Color charts shall be submitted for the following items:Carpeting, VCT, vinyl base, paint, wood doors, E.I.F.S., roof shingles, and split-facedconcrete block

Guarantee:The Contractor shall guarantee, in writing, all materials and workmanship in connection withthis project's Work for the period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of theWork by the Owner. Neither the final acceptance certificate nor payment for any provisionof the contract documents shall relieve the Contractor of their responsibility to correct orreplace any faulty materials or workmanship discovered and noted to the Contractor inwriting within the guarantee period.

Stipulation Against Liens:Prior to the execution of the Contract, the Contractor shall provide to the Owner aStipulation Against Liens properly executed and filed with the Office of the Prothonotaryof the County of Berks.

Document Ownership:All drawings, specifications and other documents prepared for this project, and all copiesthereof, shall remain the property of the Architect. Utilization of these documents for anyother use other than the work of this project is strictly prohibited. All rights to thesedocuments are reserved by the Architect.

Temporary Utilities:The Owner's electric and water may be utilized by the contractor for the performance ofthe Work of this project, except that the Contractor is responsible to supply the sourcefor any temporary electric for welding purposes. The misuse or waste of the Owner'sutilities is not permitted, and the Contractor may be charged for any such misuse.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the provision, installation, and removal all temporarypartitions, dropcloths, tarps, etc. required to protect the existing occupied areas from theareas of the project Work. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide a system toexhaust the construction dust to the exterior of the building during dust-making activitiesand clean-up activities.

DIVISION 11 - EQUIPMENT

DIVISION 13 - SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION

DIVISION 14 - CONVEYING SYSTEMS

Not Applicable.

DIVISION 15 - MECHANICAL

General Plumbing Requirements:All plumbing systems and materials shall be provided and installed in accordance with thelocal building and plumbing codes. Sanitary piping to be Sched. 40 PVCwith fittingsappropriate for drainage and vent systems. Domestic water piping to be Type L coppertubing.

New Plumbing Fixtures:New plumbing fixtures to be equal to the following:

Water Closets Kohler #K-3505 "Wellworth"; verify hand for flush trip lever,with closed front seat with lid.

Lavatories Kohler #K-1728 "Chesapeake, with strainer, trap andK-7401-SA faucet.

Sink at Nurses Station Elkay PSLVR1917 "Pacemaker" stainless steel sink withstrainer, trap and #LK406AT08T4 faucet.

Provide insulation on both cold and hot domestic water piping. Install insulation inaccordance with manufacturer's instructions.

General HVAC Requirements:All HVAC systems shall be provided and installed in accordance with the local building andmechanical codes.

Metal Ductwork:Provide metal ductwork for the extension of the ductwork systems for the relocation of allHVAC diffusers and/or grilles as noted or required. Install ductwork in accordance withcode requirements. Seal all joints.

Reutilization of existing flexible ductwork is acceptable in areas where this type of ductworkis used and if the length of the existing flexible ductwork is sufficient for the new diffuserlocation. Provide new flexible ductwork to match existing materials where required.

Ductwork supplying heated or cooled air shall be insulated with fiberglass wrap insulationwith a minimum value of R-8. All joints are to be taped and sealed.

HVAC Units:Provide new HVAC units to be compatible and match the type of units installed in theexisting building. Wiring to match existing and shall comply with the requirements of theNational Electric Code.

HVAC Controls:In Berks Foot and Ankle Suite, provide themostatic controls for each office area, for thebusiness office area and for the new X-ray room. Thermostats are also to be providedfor Exam Rooms 018 / 019, 020 / 021 and 030 / 031. The HVAC system for the Storagerooms shall be tied with the general space thermostat.

In Reading - Berks Physical Therapy, provide separate thermostats for 002 / 003, 004,005 / 006, 007, 008 / 009 / 010 / 011, 012 / 013 and 014 / 015.

DIVISION 16 - ELECTRICAL

General Electrical Requirements:All electrical systems shall be provided and installed in accordance with the local buildingand electrical codes.

All wiring shall be copper conductors, either stranded or solid as required by the NationalElectric Code. Aluminum conductors are not acceptable.

The Owner's electric may be utilized for temporary lighting and power, provided that thiselectric is not wasted. The Contractor shall provide all temporary wiring, devices orfixtures required for the performance of the Work by all trades. The Contractor shall alsobe responsible for the removal of these temporary items when required for the completionof the Work.

Power Systems:Provide power outlets where indicated, or where not indicated, provide outlets inaccordance with the National Electric Code.

All wiring devices (outlets, etc.) and plates shall match existing.

All wiring and cables shall comply with the requirements of the local codes and the NationalElectric Code.

Provide wiring of emergency switches and devices associated with fire suppression systemfor Vault 'B' (126.1). Confirm wiring diagram and requirements for devices with systemmanufacturer.

Cutting and Patching:Inspect all existing conditions prior to any cutting operations. Provide all required protection,including, but not limited to, shoring, bracing, and supports to maintain the structural integrityof the existing work to remain.

Patch and / or repair all areas or surfaces disturbed by the Work with new finishes ormaterials to match the adjacent existing materials or finish.

Where existing stud wall openings are being closed, or other patching is required greaterthan one (1) square foot in area, enlarge area as required so that edges of new gypsumwallboard are over new or existing framing members.

Hidden Conditions:The Contractor shall notify the Architect and Owner immediately of any hidden or latentconditions in the project area materially differing from the scope of the work indicated inthe contract documents before they are disturbed. The Owner's representative will thenpromptly investigate the conditions, and if the existing conditions are found to be materiallydifferent from the scope of the work shown or noted in the construction documents a changewill be processed in the construction documents. The Contractor will review these changesand provide a cost breakdown for any increase or decrease in the contract sum. A changeorder to incorporate the change in the construction documents will be processed.

Weather Conditions:The Contractor shall protect the Work of this project and shall protect the existing occupiedportions of the building from damage from the weather resulting from work that the Contractorperformed as part of this project. Any materials, equipment, furnishings, or other parts ofthe building which are damaged by weather as a result of the Contractor's, or theirSubcontractor's, failure to protect the building or materials from the weather shall bereplaced by the Contractor at the Contractor's expense.

Responsibility of the Contractor:If, through acts of neglect or negligence on the part of the Contractor or theirSubcontractor(s), another contractor or subcontractor suffers loss or damage,the Contractor agrees to settle with the damaged party by agreement or arbitrationif the damaged party approves such a settlement agreement. If the damaged partydoes not agree to settle and files any claim against the Owner, the Owner shall notifythe Contractor, and the Contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner againstany such claim.

Applications for Payment:The Contractor shall submit periodic applications for payment to the Architect's ConstructionRepresentative by the end of the last day of the month. The Architect's ConstructionRepresentative shall review these applications and provide any comments or correctionsto the Contractor within 10 calendar days. The Contractor shall provide two certifiedcopies of the Application for Payment within five calendar days of receipt of any comments.The Architect's Construction Representative shall provide a Certificate of Payment to theOwner within 5 calendar days. The Owner shall provide payment to the Contractor withseven calendar days of approval of the Certificate of Payment by the Architect.

Final Cleaning:The Contractor, upon completion of the Work, shall present the project to the Owner in acleaned state and ready for occupancy. All surfaces shall be wiped clean, all carpetedareas shall be vacuumed, and all resilient flooring areas shall be swept and mopped clean.All glass surfaces shall be cleaned and all labels, tags, etc. shall be removed.

DIVISION 2 - DEMOLITION

Demolition:The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of these specifications and with allapplicable requirements of the local, state and federal regulations.

The Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all materials noted to be removedexcept as other wise noted for items or materials to be salvaged and/or reused. Areas fordumpsters to be located and areas for storage of the salvaged materials shall becoordinated with the Owner. The Contractor shall provide protection of the salvagedmaterials during the storage period.

Existing exit paths for the building occupants must be maintained throughout the durationof the project work. Access for the fire department apparatus must be maintained at alltimes.

The Contractor shall provide dust partitions and barriers as required to prevent constructiondust and debris from migrating into the occupied areas of the project site.

DIVISION 2 - SITE

Excavation:Provide all excavation for the installation of underslab plumbing, HVAC or electrical work.Provide all excavation for new footings and foundations. All excavation is unclassified.

DIVISION 3 - CONCRETE

General Concrete, Footings and Foundations:Unless noted otherwise, all concrete shall be a minimum of 3,500 psi concrete after the28 day break. Contractor shall provide concrete tests for the concrete placed at the site.

Slabs:The concrete slab shall be a minimum of 4" thick with 6x6, W1.6xW1.6 welded wire fabricover a minimum of 6"thick crushed stone base. Crushed stone base to be equal toPennDOT 2B crushed stone.

DIVISION 4 - MASONRY

General:All mortar joints shall be struck and tooled. All walls shall have horizontal reinforcing at16" maximum vertical spacing equal to "Dur-O-Wal" DA3100 reinforcing.

Interior walls:Interior walls shall be concrete block of the noted thickness where indicated. Block shallbe lightweight, hollow, load-bearing concrete blocks complying with ASTM C90, Grade N.Mortar shall be a Portland Cement mortar complying with ASTM C270, Type S.

DIVISION 5 - METALS

Structural Steel:Existing building has steel columns along the north and south walls with steel beams to carrythe roof trusses. The structural engineer for the original building was Multani Associates ofWyomissing, PA. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide structural steel and roof designas part of their proposal. This work shall also include provision of structural design and drawingsfor the footings and foundations and the provision of the requirements for the wood roof truss designby the wood truss manufacturer.

DIVISION 6 - WOOD / PLASTIC

Rough Framing:All wood framing shall be structural grade lumber. Provide all wood blocking and fire blockingas required. All wood in contact with masonry or concrete shall be pressure-treated lumber.

Wood Trusses:Provide wood roof trusses in same slope and profile as existing roof trusses. Submit shopdrawings of trusses with drawings for building permit. Shop drawings to be sealed by astructural engineer registered in Pennsylvania.

Roof Sheathing:Provide 3 4" exterior grade plywood roof sheathing.

Finish Carpentry:Provide miscellaneous wood trim and other finish carpentry items as noted on the drawings.All wood trim noted on the Drawings shall be paint-grade pine unless specifically noted otherwise.

New cabinets and casework shall be provided by the Owner under a separate contract. TheContractor shall be responsible for all connections to the plumbing and electrical fixtures providedwith the cabinets / casework.

DIVISION 7 - THERMAL & MOISTURE PROTECTION

Sound Insulation:Provide unfaced fiberglass batt insulation for all new metal stud partitions. Insulation shall complywith ASTM C665, Type I, and, when installed in the metal stud / gypsum board partitions, thewall systems shall have a STC rating of 50. Insulation to be installed between all metalstuds. Thickness of insulation shall be as indicated on the Drawings.

Thermal Insulation:Provide fiberglass batt insulation for roof areas - minimum R Value - R-38.

Provide extruded polystyrene rigid insulation boards for masonry areas of exterior walls -minimum R Value - R-7.5.

Provide fiberglass batt insulation for exterior stud walls - minimum R Value - R-19.

Roofing:Provide new asphalt shingle roofing over 30 lb. felt underlayment. Shingles to matchexisting roof in profile and configuration. Provide 30 year shingle from Elk or approvedequal. Provide Grace "Ice & Water Shield" for a distance of 4' minimum up roof slopefrom edge.

E.I.F.S.:Provide exterior insulation and finish system equal to Dryvit Standard DS205 finish andinsulation system with a "Sandpebble Fine" finish, or equal product from Sto Corp. orBASF Construction Chemicals. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's installationinstructions. Provide "DensGlass Gold" sheathing at exterior side of new wall areas.

Provide thicknesses and profiles to match existing building. Colors of E.I.F.S. to matchexisting building.

Siding:Provide double 4" clapboard vinyl siding from Revere Building Products or equal fromAlcoa or Genflex. Siding to be installed on exterior of wall on South Elevation as indicatedon the Drawings. Provide all trim and other accessories as required for complete coverage.Install siding in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Color as selected by Ownerfrom manufacturer's standard color line.

Sealants:Provide sealant around all openings in walls, at all construction joints in gypsum boardpartitions, and at all construction joints in masonry construction. Sealant is to beprovided at the joints between dissimilar materials. Sealant is to be "AC-20 +Silicone"by Pecora or approved equal.

Provide acoustic sealant at joints between all new walls and the existing floor slab orexisting walls. Sealant shall be "AIS 919 Acoustical and Insulation Latex Sealant"by Pecora or approved equal.

Provide fire-rated sealants around penetrations through fire-rated partitions. Sealantsare to be supplied by Hilti, Inc. or equal. Provide rated sealant systems which have anequal rating to the rating of the partition.

DIVISION 8 - DOORS AND WINDOWS

Hollow Metal Frames:Interior door frames shall be cold-rolled steel. Frames shall be a minimum of 16 gaugesteel and shall be reinforced at all locations where door hardware is to be installed.Provide mortises for all hinges, closers, etc. Provide doors and frames from Cec, Curies orRepublic.

Wood Doors:New wood doors shall be 7-ply, solid-core, red oak veneer. Provide manufacturer'sstandard stained / polyurethane finish as selected by Owner. Provide doors from Eggers,Weyerhauser, or Mohawk.

Aluminum Doors and Frames:The interior vestibule doors and frames at the new entrance shall be equal to theTri-fab 451 doors and frames from Kawneer. Doors to be "narrow style" doors. Doorsand frames are to have "Clear" anodized finish.

The glass lights in the aluminum doors shall be ¼" tempered glass.

Door Hardware:New door hardware shall be as noted on the Drawings. Substitutions for listed hardwaremanufacturers must receive prior approval by the Architect.

Windows:Provide aluminum windows to match existing windows in size, profile and finish. Existingwindows are from Kawneer.

DIVISION 9 - FINISHES

Acoustic Tile Ceilings:Provide 2'x4' lay-in acoustic tile ceilings in all areas except where noted. Grid to bemanufacturer's heavy-duty, 15/16" wide system. Ceiling panels are to match existingpanels and shall be equal to Armstrong "Fine-Fissured, Second Look" #1761.

Metal Stud Framing:Interior partitions shall be galvanized steel studs, minimum 3-5/8" wide at 16" on center.Gauge of stud to be minimum 25 gauge and shall be in accordance with manufacturer'srequirements for height of wall. Provide top and bottom tracks for all partitions inaccordance with the stud manufacturer's requirements. Bracing and framing of openingsto be as required by manufacturer's recommendations and building codes.

Exterior wall framing to be galvanized steel studs in dimensions noted on Drawings. Gauge tobe provided by Structural Engineer employed by Contractor for structural steel frame design.

Gypsum Board Partitions:Provide gypsum board from USG, National Gypsum or equal. Provide 1/2" thick gypsumboard in all areas except where 5 8" thick Type X ggypsum board is required for fire ratedpartitions. Provide all edge accessories and finish all joints as required and in accordancewith the manufacturer's instructions.

Flooring:

Vinyl Composition Tile: Provide 12"x12" VCT flooring equal to Armstrong "StandardExcellon". Color as selected by Owner from manufacturer's standard colors.

Carpeting:Provide carpeting from Lees Carpets, Series "Deauville" or "Seventh Avenue" with Leesstandard broadloom warranties. Color as selected by Owner from full color lineavailable in the noted series.

Vinyl Cove Base: Provide 1/8" gauge, 4" high vinyl cove base in all areas equal to Armstrong.Color as selected by the Owner from manufacturer's standard colors.

Paint:Provide at least one coat of block filler on all exposed concrete block masonry walls inaccordance with paint manufacturer's specifications. Provide at least one coat of primer onall new gypsum board partitions in accordance with paint manufacturer's specifications.Provide a minimum of two finish coats of flat latex paint on all wall areas equal to Glidden "SpredSatin" in all areas calling for painted walls.

For all painting work, the Owner's representative shall review the finished product and shall make adetermination if another finish coat is required to provide the necessary coverage. The paintingsubcontractor shall be responsible for coordination of the touch-up painting work with the other trades.The Owner's representative shall have the final determination regarding the requirements for touch-upor repainting. All touch-up or repainting work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and shall notbe an additional cost to the Owner.

DIVISION 10 - SPECIALTIES

Toilet Accessories:Provide mirrors, grab bars and toilet paper holder from Bobrick in Toilet 011, 022 and 028in accordance with the following schedule:

Lighting Systems:Install new lighting fixtures as indicated on the Drawings and provide new wiring and circuits.Extend or rewire existing lighting power circuits and provide new switching devices asrequired by the local codes and the National Electric Code. New devices and plates shallmatch existing.

Emergency Lighting / Exit Sign Systems:Contractor shall provide new emergency lighting fixtures for Corridor areas as shown onplans. These fixtures shall match the existing emergency lighting fixtures. Provide powerwiring as required. Extend or rewire existing power circuit as required and in accordance with theNational Electric Code.

Provide new emergency exit signs where indicated on the Drawings. New signs shall matchexisting exit signs. Provide wiring as required for new signs in accordance with theNational Electric Code.

Data / Communications Systems:Extend existing telephone system and provide telephone outlets the areas where indicatedon the Drawings. Wiring to match existing and shall be extended from the existing telephonesystem to each of the indicated outlets. Provide terminations at both ends of the cables.

Provide data outlets in the areas where indicated on the Drawings. Cable shall be Cat. 5 datacable (equal to Type IC 4 PR 24 AWG Type CMR (UL) or PCC-FT4 C (UL)). Provideterminations at both ends of the cable. Terminations shall match existing data system.

Fire Alarm System:Provide new smoke detectors where indicated on the Drawings. Smoke detectors shallmatch existing system devices. Provide relocation of existing smoke detectors whereindicated on the Drawings. Provide new wiring for the new or relocated fire alarm systemdevices as required and in accordance with the National Electric Code.
