DAY 1: LIMA | MEAL PLAN: - Arrival in Lima, welcome with a signboard by our local representative and transfer to the selected hotel. Overnight stay in Lima (154 m). Note: hotel check-in 15:00 DAY 2: LIMA | MEAL PLAN: B In the morning we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, we will then head to the Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Afterwards, we will continue to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will see the Cathedral from the outside and will then explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today. Later, we will visit the Larco Museum, an 18th century mansion built on top a pre-Columbian pyramid circa the 7th century. Lots of treasures often exhibited in the world’s most prestigious museums are there for us to see. Don’t miss the warehouse and the exclusive collection of pre-Columbian erotic ceramics. Tour duration: up to 4 hours, entrance tickets to Santo Domingo convent and Larco museum and a Russian-speaking guide are included. Free afternoon. Overnight stay in Lima.

DAY 3: LIMA / CUSCO | MEAL PLAN: B At the time agreed, transfer to the Lima airport for a direct flight to Cusco. Arrival at the Cusco airport (3,309 m), welcome reception and transfer to the hotel. Time to rest and acclimatize. Note: hotel check-in from 12:00 or 14:00, depending on the hotel. In the afternoon, we will drive out of Cusco to visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions, surrounded by beautiful views. Our adventure continues at the Inca shrine of Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave. Finally, we will take a short walk to Tambomachay, a monument of impressive architectonic knowledge considered one of the pillars of the Andean Cosmo vision. Return to Cusco to visit Korikancha temple that will welcome us in all its magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name translates as “Gold Enclosure”, used to bedazzle the Spanish conquistadors with its gold covered walls. They later built the Santo Domingo Church on top of this Inca temple. Tour duration: up to 4 hours, entrance tickets to the Sacsayhuaman archaeological park and Korikancha and a Russian-speaking guide are included. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cusco. DAY 4: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO | MEAL PLAN: B, L

In the morning, transfer to the train station (Jan 02 to Apr 30 trains depart from the Ollantaytambo station in the Sacred Valley). You will enjoy a spectacular train ride aboard a Vistadome train to see one of the new 7 wonders of the world. Enjoy the changing views. Arrival at the Machu Picchu Pueblo station and a brief walk to the shuttle bus stop, from where one of the buses will take you up a winding road to the lost city of the Incas (bus trip takes up to 30 min). Machu Picchu (2490 m) will welcome you in all its splendor and you will have time to visit the most interesting parts of this ancient Inca town. The guided tour takes up to 2,5 hrs and includes the ceremonial buildings, living quarters, Intihuatana solar clock and some other important sites. You can feel energy all around and enjoy the breathtaking views. After the guided tour you will have some time to continue exploring the city on your own (a maximum of 4 hours is permitted inside the archaeological site). Board one of the shuttle buses to return to the Machu Picchu Pueblo and enjoy lunch at Café Inkaterra. Then walk back to the train station to board a return train and get aboard our vehicle for a transfer back to Cusco. Overnight stay in Cusco. DAY 5: CUSCO | MEAL PLAN: B Free day in Cusco. Please ask us for optional activities.

DAY 6: CUSCO / JULIACA / PUNO | MEAL PLAN: B At the time agreed, transfer to the Cusco airport for a direct flight to Juliaca. Arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel. On the way, stop to visit the Sillustani tombs, located on the shores of the Umayo lagoon. These spectacular constructions, measuring up to 12 meters high, were built by the Colla to bury the important members of their society. Arrival at the hotel, check-in and time for some rest. Puno altitude is around 3800 m. DAY 7: PUNO | MEAL PLAN: B, L In the morning, transfer to the Puno port. Shared service tour of the Titicaca Lake and its islands in a motor boat with a personal English-speaking guide. You will enjoy a day on the highest navigable lake in the world, the famous Titicaca. You will first visit the floating Uros Islands, made of totora reeds that grow along the shores of the lake. Their inhabitants will welcome you and show you around, explaining how they live in their floating houses. Continue your trip to the Taquile island, while enjoying the views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Taquile is known for its UNESCO heritage traditions: the men are skilled knitters and the women – weavers. Their handmade belts, hats and other pieces of colorful clothing are full of meaning and symbolism. After learning about local traditions, you will enjoy a simple meal on the island, with panoramic views of the lake. Return to the port and board our vehicle to drive back to the hotel for the night. DAY 8: PUNO / JULIACA / LIMA /... | MEAL PLAN: B At the time agreed, Juliaca airport transfer and a direct flight to Lima. Connection with your international flight upon arrival.
