1. Introduction

When user needs to update the map, user could download this update tool from the internet and update the map.

2. Preparation

(1) PC with internet. (2) IE 8.0 or above. (3) Navigation SD card. (4) Card reader.

3. Download and installation

(1) Download the update tool – Tomato from the following link：

http://map.polstargps2.com/fixture/SD/Tomato/download/Tomato_Setup.exe

(2) Click “Yes” to install Tomato.

(3) Click “Next” to finish the installation。

PS. If the pc did no install Microsoft .Net Framework, the update tool will install Framework automatically before installing.

4. Getting Start to use Tomato

(1) Start the update tool by double clicking the icon of Tomato.

(2) In the welcome page, click “Start” to start the tomato tool.

(3) Step1 click “Browse” to choose the SD card’s disk.。

(4) Step 2 click “Start”.

(5) The SD card Status column will show the information of the Navigation Software.

(6) If the Map is out of date, click ”Next” in Step 3 to continue the update process .

(7) If the license is out of date, click ”Next” in Step3 to continue the update process .

(8) Prepare a Credit Card to purchase the upgrade license. Click [Buy Online].

(9) Input your Email to receive the purchase confirmation letter. After entering your email address, please click [Buy Online]. Note. Please check if the entering email is correct or not, otherwise you’ll not receive the confirmation letter.

(10) Click the URL in the Purchase Confirmation letter.

(11) Check the information on the website, then Click [Confirm] button.

(12) Enter your credit card number, Expiry Date and Card validation Code (3 numbers on the

backside of credit card). After entering, please confirm if the data you entering is correct or not. Then click [SEND].

(13) Click ‘OK’ button to continue.

(14) The upgrade payment has been paid successfully. Please receive the Confirmation letter and check the Secret code (20 characters) on the Email.

(15) Check the Secret Code info on the Email.

(16) Enter the Secret code and Click [Get Key] button. Please entering the secret code in numbers

and capital characters. There are total 20 characters, 4 characters in each column. Do not enter ‘–‘ (dash).

(17) Click “Next (Upgrade Map)”.

(18) Click “Close” to finish the upgrade.
