The Beau-Rivage Palace is habilitated by the Rabbinate of

Lausanne to prepare and serve kosher menus. See our general

We remain at your disposal to organize a brunch

The Beau-Rivage Palace has an underground car park.

If you would like to cover the charges of your guests’cars.

travelling arrangements such as transfers, limousine or coaches.

THE « MONTREUX » STEAMBOAT

The “Montreux”, a yacht owned by the “Compagnie Générale de

Navigation” (CGN) has been awarded with the coveted “lieu d’ex-

ception” label by the Lausanne civil authorities making it possible

for us to organize your wedding on board

The Beau-Rivage Palace is the exclusive caterer of the “Montreux”

for that reason we are at your service to sort out all the details of

your ceremony. The catering brochure can be sent on request.

History

The Montreux was launched on March 12, 1904. In 1962 it was

then fitted with a diesel electric engine. In 1998 the boat was com-

pletely restored including new engines and re-joined lake Geneva

on May 19, 2001.

« Le Montreux » is the oldest of the CGN’s boats.

Wedding

Le Montreux can be reserved for cocktail parties and banquets.

To help you organize your event, a visit can be made so don’t

hesitate to contact us to book an appointment.

However, during the months of July and August, Le Montreux sails

on public cruises every evening so, if you would like to charter the

boat for a private event, the cruise route and starting place can be

modified to your needs although the home port is Lausanne.
