PSR Information for Fall 2019-2020Faith Formation Classes will be from 6:15 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Mondays, beginning on September 16th.OnthefirstFaithFormationClassofeachmonth,wewillbehaving a Family Catechesis night. The format of the night
will be catechetical teaching onGod’s Plan of Salvation, with K-5th, 6th-8th,andparentsessionsteachingthesamesubjectsatdifferentlevels.Then,allthefamilieswillgathertogetherforPrayer,Worship,andAdoration.
Therestofthemonth,PSRforallgradeswillbeheldonMondayevenings,from6:15-7:30p.m.TheseclasseswillberelatedtotheteachingtaughtonFamilyCatechesis nights. All of the Faith Formation classwill be learning the samecontentatage-appropriatelevelswithappropriategrade-levelactivities.
Pleasefillout registrationas soonaspossiblewhich isonlineonourwebsite(www.saintmichael-cd.org). The deadline for registration is September 1st. (Religious Education is closed over the summer, but they will respond to your emails when they return starting August 15.)

Thus,itiswhollysubjecttotheChurch.Formerlymarriagehadnootherpurposethanthatofbringingchildrenintotheworld.ButnowithasbeenraisedtothedignityofasacramentbyChristtheLordandenrichedwithheavenlygifts.NowitspurposeisnotsomuchtogenerateoffspringastoeducatechildrenforGodandforreligion.Thisincreasesthenumberofworshipersofthetruedivinity.
ItisagreedthattheunionofmarriagesignifiestheperpetualandsublimeunionofChristwithHisChurch;asaresult,thecloseunionofhusbandandwifeisasacrament,thatis,asacredsignoftheimmortalloveofChristforHisspouse."

Wearepleasedtosharethatwehavealreadyreceived$13,000.00towardsourgoalofapproximately$36,000.00.Ofthosefunds,$4,000.00hasbeendonatedbyourgoodKnightsofColumbus,and$4,000.00fromourSt.MichaelAthleticAssociation.WearedeeplygratefultoourKnightsandSMAAfortheirdedicationtoourparishionersandschoolcommunity.Pleaseconsiderjoiningthisendeavor,aswewouldlovetoinstallthisoverthesummer.
